Would love to see us keeping Pjanic, Sandro and all of our other top players, adding the likes of Icardi+SMS, Pelligrini, Can and hopefully slipping in a Kovacic would make us favorites for CL imo.

btw i don't get why some people don't rate khedira and pjanic. despite a couple of anonymous displays and next to zero defensive contribution, khedira would be hard to replace, as he brings stability and links defense with attacking players, he's instrumental in moving the ball around. it's pretty obvious to me that he was our 2nd best mid this season. meanwhile pjanic is the player who the team misses the most when he's not playing, and stats also prove that he's our no. 1. midfielder. he would be the last player i'd let go.

@zizinho i have no idea how the scores are calculated. you can always set up a custom comparison. i'm a fan of tackles from mids and attackers as it takes a lot of pressure off the defense. vidal obviously beats the shit out of everyone else in this category, we're still missing his tackles. for example matuidi won't offer the third of tackles vidal was capable of. that's why i wanted beppe to get us firminho who's a great ball winner near the opposition's penalty area. fun fact: he wins more balls per 90 minutes as an attacker than matuidi and khedira combined, which is ridiculous. i honestly envy liverpool's keita, firmino, fabinho trio, they are terrific. still, pjanic looks like a better overall player based on the stats:

Pjanić is better right now, Verratti really stagnated last few years. But Marco has a higher ceiling IMO. Way better dribbler, 'virtuoso' with the ball, finds solutions in tightest spaces when he's on his game. Wouldn't mind the swap.
