Here is my Dream scenario.

Sign Icardi
Send Higuain to PSG for Verratti
Bring back pogba
That's horrible. Let me fix it for you.

Higuain + 50 for Icardi, however let Gonzalo sleep at a all you can eat buffet before season starts
Sign SMS+Kovacic, ultimate balkan midfield
Sign a suitable RB
Back off on Darmian
Sign martial

Please stop signing Italian players. Especially young ones. Most are just overrated genoa-level players who can’t even pass a ball outside of serie A. I’m saying this as an avid fan of the Azzuri.

We need another vidal-lisch-pirlo-vuci-esque mercato. The 2011 Mercato brought us from serie A joke to Serie A winner. Now we need a Mercato that brings us from Serie A winner to ECL winner.

These Icardi rumours are even more hilarious and pathetic than normal. Just pure bullshit on every level. “Juventus lawyers studying the contract” the bullshit that comes from these sports journalists gets more and more pathetic as the years go on.

find a way around  he has a no Italy clause, nothing we can do unless inter agrees to sell
Exactly

If it says in his contract he has a buy-out clause of €110m only valid for overseas clubs, I don’t know what a lawyer can do to get around that.

It’s just the typical garbage we get around mercato time, which has kicked off even earlier with the BS now that they have a lonely summer with no Italy in the World Cup.

No one talks about right defenders/wingbacks on our team, but discusses how good of a job Liverpool does. Maybe fuck Liverpool? Go fucking support them if you all are in awe. Clowns. Fabinho 50mil? Who cares? There was never an indication we are looking for him, we need muscles and power in midfield. I have complete confidence in our management, they proved time and time again they know what they do with resources that are available.

A lot of us wanted Fabinho, now Liverpool have signed him and we get Can. It’s only natural that this is whole saga being discussed.

I agree that our management have done a brilliant job at getting us back to the top of Europe, but my fear is that they are getting complacent.

Serious question: are Liverpool richer than us?
Not remarkably richer, but they do have more capital to move around.Furthermore due to Premier League's exposure and their solid foreign fanbase, they can expect an increase in revenue in the coming years: merchandise, tv, sponsorships etc.

Despite the brilliant business plan of :jj:, cringe memes/hashtags and other projects, we aren't exactly looking at noteworthy growth numbers, so to keep a healthy balance, we must act more conservative ie. 30m for a Jabroni rather than 50-60m on CL caliber :beppe:

The rumours are concentrated more, not on us buying Icardi, but Higuain potentially leaving.

- - - Updated - - -

According to Corsera, Juventus are seeking the help of a law firm to analyze the release clause included in Icardi's contract. Juventus want to understand whether the €110m release clause is fully valid only for foreign clubs between 1st & 20th July.

Corsera report that Juventus want to understand if there are any margins to avoid negotiating with Inter for their Captain, Mauro Icardi. Icardi and his representatives have agreed to discuss with Juventus over a potential move.

Furthermore, Corsera say that an exchange formula has emerged on the table.

The formula is Higuaín + €50m for Icardi.

In Milan, they're saying that the first party to bring this proposal up, were Juventus while in Turin they say it's the opposite.

Corsera say that neither Inter nor Icardi accepted Juve's crazy proposal. But the player is disappointed that Inter considered selling him to Juventus. Negotiations over extending his contract at Inter are on standby for the moment.

(Apparently this is reported by La Stampa's Max Nerozzi(reliable))

It seems we're genuinely interested, but not a chance we sit down for negotiations with Inter. That wont happen.

All in all, i think Inter will panic and give him a massive contract and that will be that.
