Pellegrini would make a great coup to be honest. We need more Italians in the team.

Pellegrini is decent, and that's about it. A great coup would be bringing back Pogba or getting SMS. We don't need more Italians in the team, unless we are getting quality ones, and since Italy recently failed to qualify for the World Cup and there's a clear dearth of talent, we shouldn't be adding more Italian Jabronis for the sake of it.

This. Icardi is a better player and the deal isn't too bad considering inter won't sell him for cheap. Basically buying Higgy was Crazy from Nipples this is just insane lol. However when crazy works then so will insanity.

My main concern is what Mark has already highlighted, how will we get the best out of him without turning him into a box to box mid. There was a time we would look at players like benatia, pjanic, higgy and dislike their comments before coming here but icardi is lol some insane level. We're probably the only club that can humble down a Wanda imo. After the higgy transfer, nothing surprises me.
