What concerns me is we got to fix our defence, midfield and possibly attack as well as bring in a decent gk if gigi leaves. This is required all before the beginning of next season. I'm scared that we will end up fixing only one of these positions and put plasters all over the cracks on the others.

Playing devils advocate losing the scudetto would maybe force bigger changes than if we win it.

We absolutely need new signings this summer. And big signings. Khedira/Matuidi cant start anymore. Need a quality RB. And possibly changes in attack also. Higuain was useless 89 mins. But now he scored the goal which might win us the title and all will be forgotten. And then there is Dybala who simply hasnt been good enough this season. Are we selling him or not. Id like to have some backup to bring from bench in CF as well.

Btw Szesny isnt decent enough for you?

I meant we need a solid 2nd choice. That said I'm not fully convinced with the pole... but we got bigger issues to solve than the gk position..

Pretty much sums up my thoughts. There are an abundance of players in this squad who are past it or just not good enough. So you are saying we have played defensively in the CL but its only because of our offense and not our defensive record that we have gotten as far as we have under Allegri. Ive heard it all. You can say we need more balance but dont say something as dumb as our defense hasnt gotten us far in the CL

Our CMs are all shocking. Not a single one can break the midfield lines. Not a single one can even play a basic 1-2 like the one Cuadrado played.

I swear to god I would rather play Juan and Berna as CMs and Bentancur as DM than watch another year of these CMs.

Matuidi is good for a team that doesn't have the ball. If you want to have the ball, then he's useless. And that is said with respect. Khedira is a passenger at all times, good if the ball finds him in the box.

Pjanic can be moved on and I wouldn't cry about it.

Talking about Pjanic... it seems even him should be questioned. Way too soft..and he is not exactly a pirlo or iniesta which would make our game tick. We are better buying 2 players like can and SMS....and using someone like Marchisio who can at least put some fight when he doesnt have the ball...or try and give a full season to betancourt who seems to have way more fight in his legs than Marchisio.

I dont know wtf happened to pjanic but he seemed to eb dragged down too. He is not making any difference at this point.
