If we sell Pjanic - One of Pogba/SMS will surely arrive (due to the fact the EPL window is almost closed I`d say its SMS) so dont worry we will have a WC CM anyway
Unless its Pogba then don't bother. SMS will likely cost the same as Pjanic's transfer fee and he isn't as good, isn't as proven and isn't already integrated into the squad. Seems pointless.

Now that I think about it, a 3-4-3 could be interesting with

Sandro - Maituidi/Can - Pjanic - Cancelo

In the midfield but I'd much rather a 4-3-3

Romeo agresti says unless we sell Pjanic or Sandro mercato closed.

Also we will play with 3 at the back.

3-5-2 or 3-4-3?
He said it was just his idea, not informed statement.

But I always like that, wanted us to try it last year too. 343 that is. We haven't played the good old 3-5-2 in a long time.

According to reports Pogba will definitely remain at Man Utd (I read he wants 23M a season)
SMS is potentially better than Pjanic the thing is Pjanic is here and we know exactly what we have
SMS isnt here and he might take that next step at Juve and he might fall - It is a risk.. It can pay off big and it could be a problem
If both Pjanic and SMS will play to their best here and we have to choose one - I`d definitely go for SMS as he is stronger faster much better defensively and IMO is also better attacking wise (Pjanic is a much better at organizing which means we will need a new organizer or change the role)

pogba has one foot in barca
Apparently he has one foot in his own ass... 23M per season thats what Calciomercato says he wants...

I like the idea of a 343. We dont have to use it every week, but it’d be one way to field the best possible 11. It’d also allow Sandro and Cancelo to play more advanced.

Alphabet or Perin

Benatia or Rugani/Bonucci/Chiellini

Cancelo/Can/Pjanic/Sandro

Dybala/Ronaldo/Costa

Mandzukic rotates with Ronaldo and Costa to insure regular playing time, and Matuidi with Can and Sandro.

Have we ever seen any top teams play 3-4-3? Conte's Chelsea plays 3-4-3 on paper, but it's 3-5-1-1 on the field.
we create our own legacy with our own set of players. And as long as every player is unique, the outcome is different with different set of players in different teams even with the same formation.

So Mercato chiuso for england then. :calmark:

Shame about pogba, but I'm glad he stayed at Man U rather than leave for Barca. It also gives me satisfaction at seeing Raiola not getting his big money move that he wanted all summer. I wonder if we're saving him for next year when we have more funds.
