Transfermarkt says that his contract expires 30th of June 2018.
Which means he can agree a new one with anybody in January

I figure so, but since we're not paying a transfer fee it might work. It's like paying 90M for his fee, then paying 30M in wages over 3 seasons :D
I meant 120m post tax, so for Juve its more like 200m. :D Still totally worth it, but there's like 0.5% chance of that happening, if that guy ever leaves La Liga, it surely isnt for dusty Serie A stadiums

We want a kid from Valladolid. He's 18yo and his name is Miguel de la Fuente.

He has a 600k euros release clause but we offered 500k
As funny as that is I just don't believe it :D This is the club who paid over €2m for Gabriel Appelt, €1m to loan Leo Bonatini. We've paid that kind of money and more for many young players, no way Beppe is haggling over €100K.

the schick saga does makes us look like idiots especially the desperation to resurrect a deal which we originally cancelled
Wouldn't desperation be if Juve increased the original offer? From what I understand, they didn't. All they did was come back with the original offer that was agreed upon. That doesn't sound like desperation to me.

we started off with a loan with option to buy, then as soon as other clubs got serious we got desperate and offered the same as we originally proposed, the stupid thing was the other clubs were offering more and we weren't prepared to increase that offer
