Loan + obligation how can this be possible
a loan for a player whose contract is about to expire next summer, and who can negotiate freely come january? :D some bullshit by sky, tuttosport or some other media.

also, i guess inda are irrelevant if keita himself pushes for a move to juve.
I think it's basically installments.

Inter would give them 5mln now and 15 + bonuses in the summer.

Lazio would get 20mln instead of 0.

So even juve can do that
We can, sure, but they might decide not to.

Do we... even need Keita? Higuain will play while Mandzukic can replace him there. We have Dybala behind and plenty of wingers lined up. I don't even know if we'd play Keita much. Behind Pipita to rotate with Dybala? Dybala won't warm our bench surely.

If he signs for Inter it's because he'll get more playing time there.

i see the financial reason behind such a construction (ffp alone is a reason for it), but legally, you cannot sell a player you don't own anymore i guess. if his contract expires next summer, then lazio can't sell him next summer. they should sell him either this week, or walk away with nothing.

no, unless we sell cuadrado to roma. i wouldn't do either (buy keita, sell cuadrado to roma)

Penny pinching for a quality player like Höwedes and risking to go into a new season with Licht/DeS as RB pairing.

So yeah, there is room for criticism imo.
Risk is a part of the job, a part of what makes Beppe so great again.

Criticism is due when he took the risk and failed. Which is another week away

On a long term, maybe even start from January, I SURELY expect Bernardeschi to start ahead of Cuadrado. There's absolutely no way either Costa or Berna are going to be placed on the bench. Both will start.

Then we come to the same point: Keita would be a bench for us, waiting to rotate. Also, Keita is not much of a winger at Lazio, no?

I wouldn't mind to have Keita on the bench. But it's just that I highly doubt a young player with tons of potential would come here to sit and warm our bench, because he surely wouldn't place Dybala, Berna and Costa there.

I think he is an opportunity which cannot be missed his pace dribbling direct approach will add to our counter attacks in champions league especially sides with high pressing game though his attitude and defensive contribution remain a question mark

After we seal the deal with Howedes I think we'll spend the rest of the days to

buy: Pellegri and Salcedo for tons of money
bring back: Spinazzola
sell: Asamoah

Maybe the option is valid until April 2018 or something, he's still under contract then. remember we activated our option on Bentancur around April too

Nah. If you really need a defender, and it's late in the transfer window, you pay what Schalke asks for, which wasn't much at all. If it was some depth we could live without, ok, gamble on it, but not if you really need a player. I mean If it works, great! But if not, you are fucked and start the season with Licht/DeS. Risking to not get the player just because you are a cheap bloke who wants a discount on a discounted player is not worth the risk at this point. It's stupid.

we need a defender and it's really late in the mercato, but the guy isn't guaranteed starting material, he's an option that we'd like to have at the right price. at RB he possibly can plug the hole but won't resolve the problem, at CB he's insurance in case we're hit by injuries, otherwise we got enough CB's.
