Nice squad player maybe, shouldn't start over Khedira though.

But realistically who out of the midfielders we are linked with would start over Khedira immediately? It's not easy to upgrade on Khedira/Marchisio and imo we should go for someone who has the potential to replace them in a couple of seasons. No clue who that could be though.

When we continue with 4231, i'd prefer Berna, because i think he'd make a good job in all three positions behind the striker.
I'm not convinced about Keita on the flanks. He would be a perfect second striker while Bernardeschi is more the playmaker.

I think if those 2 faced each other, the 2nd team would destroy the first team, Mandžukič abusing the shit out of de Sciglio and Khedira just standing there watching. Costa's lack of defensive ability, Khedira's lack of physicality and the huge question mark that is de Sciglio just make that right side look like a potential disaster, I'm sure Matič would improve Khedira in those circumstances, even if we'd probably still need a better RB than de Sciglio. Cuadrado's defensive competency protected Khedira a lot more than Costa will, later on we even played a RB as RW, we need a midfielder than can fight his own battles

I liked his proposal of having Dybala as the CF and Sanchez as the SS, would love to see us playing with 2 small forwards, I really liked the Quagliarella-Del Piero partnership back in the day before Quag got injured. Sadly it won't happen, we also have Mandžukič, who's been one of our best players and Costa who's expensive as $#@!, no way they're both going to bench as rotational options.

Sanchez is on 140.000£ a week at the moment. Thats around 8.3m € a year gross which is probably around 4,5/5m net a year. He is going to get a hugh wage increase but nothing like the 12-13m he is demanding.
