Since 2015 CL final - only players left are Buffon, Chiellini, Lichsteiner and Marchisio - 2 of which were not starters last season and Buffon will be gone next year.

Gone: Bonucci, Vidal, Pirlo, Tevez, Pogba, Morata, Evra. Less than half of those were replaced by a better player.

Problem now is - right back and central defence is now weaker after Alves & Bonucci - and I doubt we will replace them with better players as that is extremely difficult. Douglas Costa is an upgrade for the flank but so far we are weaker than last year and not stronger.

Don't worry nobody is stupid enough to give 40mil for Bonucci, they all know it's because of Chiellini, Barzagli and Buffon that he can be decent at times and any illusion created in the CL games in the past two years was shattered after the Allegri incident and his terrible performance in the final. After that final Dybala, Higuain, Cuadrado and Bonucci are safe...

I think Licht will be pushed out too. Cancelo + DES is enough for the right. Licht is on relatively high wages and he isn't contributing anymore. He also behaved badly towards Allegri, so there could be that as well.
