I tell you what the biggest issue is with our mercatos these days...back in the moggi era you had no idea who was joining or leaving. We never knew anything about our spend...then before you know it we land a zlatan, nedved, thuram etc...these days we put too much out there...we state what we are lookong for how much we can spend, the jocks size of players we are interested in and eveey other detail and we fukin open the doors for other clubs to negotiate well and fuk us over easily.

Marotta needs to shut the fuk up...do good business behind closed doors and be done with it.

We will sell sandro for 70m and milan and united will ask for 35m each for darmian and de sciglio...just cuz they know every but of detail about us.

Seriously...you dont have to be so open to the media...all it does is make the club look vulnerable and it could very be the complete opposite.
Times have changed. Thats just how it is now in any club with social media and what not and so much info online that wasnt available before.

Rugani
Caldara
Spinazzola
Mandragora
Orsolini

All foundational type talents. Hopefully Bernardeschi gets added to that.
I would say that only the only player of the bunch, who is likely to become a top player is Rugani. The others are questionmarks. Looking at the current under 25 Italian generation, I would say there is only 3 WC players/ talents among them.

Donnarumma (never going to happen)
Veratti(never going to happen)
Rugani

There is a bunch of talented players, who might turn into something special like
Caldara
Bernadeshi
Romagnoli
Conti
Chiesa

Theory:

Our Italian players for whatever reason are the ones that stay longer or at least are easier to persuade to stay long term. Don't know why we can't with foreign players maybe it's because our league is taking forever to grow again and Spain/England has more to offer in that sense (Germany too). I think that's why we are suddenly back on the market for more Italian players because long term we will have less of an issue keeping them? Just throwing ideas out there...

Since Alves and Sandro are probably gone...I demand Semedo and Mendy. Nothing less.
Dont know much about Semedo but Mendy is definitely the one I want if A.Sandro is going to Chelsea
What is Mendy`s price tag?
If we do sell A.Sandro I hope we do something special with his cash rather than just buy the usual level of players..

I must say Im frustrated with something and I believe you all share the same view - We seem to act like a feeder club to "bigger" clubs
I mean whoever has the sheikh kind of cash are the ones who are the so called "bigger clubs"
Chelsea seem to be getting A.Sandro
R.Madrid and Barca are definitely next for Dybala
Vidal went to Bayern
Pogba left for some cash at Man Utd
Alves - even though I consider him as a different case went to City
Morata wasnt really ours so Im not counting him as one of those..
We need some loyal players who are also WC and thats why someone like Verratti is the ultimate purchase for our mid - Italians are less likely to leave us...

Donnarumma Rugani Bonucci Chiellini Caldara Bernardeschi Spinazzola De Sciglio Verratti Chiesa are all players which I dont see leaving us even if they all reach the top level since Italians are the most loyal to Juve as far as I have seen
Buffon went to Serie B and the same goes for Del Piero - although both were symbols - Pogba could have been a symbol too if he were to stay.. He already got the no` 10...

Caldara is every bit the prospect Rugani was when he was at Empoli.

P.S I saw some talk about Pallegri - Who is Pallegri or do you refer to Pallegrini?

One of the reasons is, that they want to stay in Italy. They accept lower salaries to stay "at home".

Nothing to do with a change in policy

We're trying to sign Bernardeschi because he's a quality young talent

We've secured Caldara because he's a quality young talent

We want to bring back Spinazzola because we believe he can be a very good utility player

This is no different to what we've been doing since the past 7 years. We have always been investing in young Italian talent. If they click, it's great for us otherwise they'll be just shipped off for quick bucks à la Gabbiadini and Immobile.

It's not like there is a sudden urge to sign Italians only but yes, we're looking at the best of the bunch right now considering our core group of ageing Italian players need to be replaced at some point.

back in the moggi era we definitely were paying higher salaries (in comparison) than we do now. it will take some time to get back to that level.
back in the moggi era we were a top3 club in revenues. we'll never (=not in the next 20-30 years) get back to that level.

Marotta is cooking something, but the media has no clue about it.

All the talk is about players leaving. You don't have to be genius to know there are huge offers for our players, but the media is making it like we're falling apart, lol.

Bernardeschi's value is 40mln. We want to add Rincon into the deal.

Bayern wants 50mln for D.Costa and our offer isn't getting higher than 40. It might complicate things.

We're in pole position for Keita.

More news about Lichtsteiner going to Nica and us getting De Sciglio. Darmian and other names too.
