Italy hasn't produced too many players of note in recent years. Verratti is the only real talent that got away but we did try to sign him. We have still invested in bringing some promising Italians like Mandragora, Orsolini and Caldara in. No midfielder in our U21 team is anywhere close to Rincon in terms of quality. I do understand that having Italians in the team is nice but some on here go way over the top with it.

Yeah that might be true. We probably thought it would be just a formality to sign him back and a made a mistake in giving the full ownership to Sassuolo. Don't see Beppe trying for him anymore as Berardi already rejected us once.

Darmian is a starter at United and did really well at the end of the season. Don't think United are looking to sell. Semedo is expensive and there are multiple teams after him, Cancelo is nowhere as good as Darmian when it comes to defending.
