I would have gone all-in for Verratti this summer, but Marotta quickly excluded that possibility. Anyway, i am sure there will a overhaul, out of which i hope we will get stronger than we are now.
Why would Marotta go all out on a player that won't be sold this summer?

PSG will not sell > http://www.culturepsg.com/news/merc...-psg-sans-succes-pour-verratti-gazzetta/16117

As you can read, Barca tried again, and got a "f*** you" again as a response. And that will be like that all summer. Like every summers since 2014.

PSG will not sell Verratti this summer, and Marotta who's a very smart dude, knows there's no time to waste in a lost cause.

Remember Barca are a bunch of utopian stupid morons. They did the same with TS, and Marquinhos, chasing them till the end of mercatos, and ending up either with no one, or with awful trash players they rushed to sign.

Marotta is not a moron, that's all.

Would people like Lemar?
Yup, excellent player. Too bad people don't watch the French League much. Hope the scouts do.

French League is heavily defense based. Contrary to popular belief, in a regular season, a lot of teams from the big leagues would struggle against any mid table french league clubs, because they build big buses, and are hard to break.

Lemar, and monaco players in general this season, are amongs those players that have some impact on such defenses.

Barca's board is not only stupid, they are arrogant.

You guys should google that press conference they had at the end of a mercato afater chasing Thiago Silva for a whole summer. It was like "We can't understand how TS did not go at war with PSG till the very end. We're Barca." They didn't even question their action, they blamed the player for not boycotting till the very end.

That changed a bit after Rosell's departure, but now arrogant Barca is back. But I think that as always they will be humbled by PSG.

Just so you know, I am against keeping a player at all cost, and I even prefer Barca largely compared to Real, but it is all political this summer, people should understand that PSG has no choice. If PSG sells Verratti this summer after the awful seaosn they had, their project is dead. They can't do otherwise, even if it means going at war with Verratti.

 they fight to keep the club at the top, nothing wrong with that. but yeah, barcelona is a bunch of arrogant faggots, even the players. remember Xavi putting on that fagca shirt on Fabregas? God i hate those scum of earth

Lemar, Douglas Costa and N'Zonzi without selling any of last years starting 11 would be immense. Am I hoping for too much? Probably.
Not really. Juve has money this summer. What Juve does need to check is if those are realistic targets.

- Bayern is not against selling Costa.
- Sevilla is a selling club.
- Monaco is a selling club.

All are realistic targets. It's up to Beppe, but nothing unrealistic there.

Mendy for 30-35m and we'll have another 30ish m to strengthen. What's to cry about. Business. It's not like we win CL every year.
It's not certain Mendy will be available for €30- €35M.

They were demanding crazy prices from City earlier this month.

Whoever is Sandro's replacement will be a significant downgrade at this point

I am not sure at all. For once, Marotta can't go against what his club president wants, and also, French League != Serie A. PSG already has problem recruiting stars, way more than Juve. PSG thinks that if they sell Verratti, it will be even more hard to recruit great players.

Anyways, anyone can confirm that please? It is running on French medias but I don't know where it's from:

"I won't get any richer with 40m, Donnarumma will warm the stand for the whole upcoming season. End of story." (Yonghon Li , AC Milan)

Tbh it would be a stupid thing not to sell donnarumma, yes he may not get 'richer' as such but it will look good on the accountancy books for UEFA's FFP which they have to produce later this year after the first set of accounts and plans were rejected, losing him on a free will mean having to sell other assets who to be frank have a low resale value as it is (except the new recruits of course)

Exactly. Monaco wants more. And their asked price is too high for a player that only did one good season, and has shown nothing incredible in particular (I mean yeah he had a great season, but he doesn't shone like many other Monaco's players).

If Monaco wants 65-70m, that doesn't worth it at all.
