IMO the issue we have with CL finals goes deeper than the quality of our squad. 97,98 we had easily the strongest team. You could argue that in 2015 we had an inferior squad but this year it was all an issue of mentality and confidence.

In a QF or SF, where the team doesn't suffer from this mental collapse, no way we'd get hammered by Madrid like in the final.

We have a solid team right now, add a good DM and a true left winger and we are set. But we need to work harder on being a ruthless, confident team destroying minnows left and right, and fighting to our last breath if we make it to the CL final again.
In fact in 2015 we beat them.
That was the same team that battered us in the final.

Our LW was the season's actual MvP.

Our RW got benched for a wingback and a centreback beeing played out of position

The issue is RW, not LW. And costa has been quite amazing as an inside RW. Keita is interesting too. So is Berna.

I'd agree on your point tho. Fix that winger(we differ on what side ) and the cdm and we are as good as it gets

Rudy :tuttosport:

Such quality player. He'll join Sebastian Rode soon.

This move only makes sense for Bayern, but not for the player, just like with Gnabry.
See thats what I m talking about. Rode is definitely a player I would compare with Rincon.

Remember my words, Rudy makes a lot of sense and he is going to surprise many..wait and see.

The Gnabry deal obviouly was already fixed with Werder last summer. Doesnt excite me at all, but not much to lose here.

the only difference is that we bought Rincon in January where we were kinda forced to get someone as Marchisio was injured and Khedira as well and we sold the mighty Hernanes

Marotta is a tough mofo, so tbo I would be surprised to see Juve paying more than 40m€ + maybe some bonuses.

I was afraid Bayern would negotiate like amateurs again, but then I read about 50m€ asking price and had a grin on my face, as that was the sum I mentioned, if I would be able to sell. If Bayern can get more than 40m€ from u guys like 45m€, then I m very happy.
