Why u put Hummels there. Hummels was 20 in 2008/9 when he went to Dortmund. He was a nobody then. Bayern had more experienced defenders. Hummels developed and grew at Dortmund and eventually Bayern bought him back.
Lucio was probably considered past his prime. Bayern didnt win league 08/09 and Lucio left same summer. Obviously he had a great first season at inter but after that it went downhill quick. Also if i recall there were some relationship issues in his last Bayern years. They seemed happy to get rid of him.
Those may be fair points, but it still doesn't address the fact we're playing Dybala away from the place he's most dangerous, and playing a defensive winger, which was glorious to watch, but doesn't make sense in the long term. We're making players fit the formation rather than the formation fit the players, and this window is the time to address that.
We've learned nothing here we didn't know after the last two transfer windows. We never got Max his number 10, and we need more strength in midfield.
I still think we could have won the final with the team we had. We started right trying to hit them, but they also started strong. At this point I'd have rather the team stayed compact, squeezed them to turn over possession and moved forward as a unit. We let the game become to hectic and that's where Madrid thrive.

We have too many one dimensional players, players that only excel at one thing especially in the MF and attack, and if we want to make it to the next level and stop desillusion like on Saturday, we need to replace them with betetr players:
- Khedira and Cuadrado shouldn't be near the starting 11. Give me Tolisso/fabinho or Verrati ( is we switch to a 3 man MF)
- Mandzukic: I know he had a good year but we definetely need an upgrade.
- Higuain: i dont want to repalce but he definetely needs to lose weight. He looks slow and out of shape. Lost his ability to create for himself.
- A New RB
- Creativity off the bench: Shick/Keita/Berna..

A new Rb? Alves is fine...but he needs to play right back in a back 4 and have adequate back up so we ensure he is managed well enough to last the season.
I think if we had the likes of khedira Schlick cuadrado mandzukic on bench it is ten times better than what we have now.
Midfield needs work...3 starters..pjanic is a given...marchisio hopefully returns to full fitness and form...need that third midfielder..tolisso would be great...but we need cover...khedira sounds good...sturaro Rincon and lemina less so. Mandragora and bentancur sound interesting.

In: MDS 12, Fabinho 35, James 60, Schick 25 + one of Di Maria / Costa / Berna ~ 35-50 = 180m.
Net spent: 110m. If you count Coman - Benatia fee, Zaza money from Valencia the spend is less...add CL money and we won't touch our pockets.

Cant believe Lirola is good for Barcelona and not good enough to be our bench, same for Spinazzola, instead we are bringing DeSciglio(i think guy is a good player) but not needed here, we have our own already, give chance to Bentancur to be on the bench and for God sake sign very best midfielders, cause we need at least 2, we lost to Madrid because of Non-existing midfield and not having real smart moving wingers(Cuadrado is headless chicken, he already reached his top level and thats nowhere near of what JUVE need)...please for God sake sign what we need

2)sign Fabinho to play cover for Alves and main role to be in MF
3)try for Verrati, if not Verrati bring SMS and give guy a chance to show what he is made of
4)try for Sanchez all in, if not Sanchez bring Bernardeschi
5)Bring Keita for rotation and resting starters togheter with Pjaca
6)Bring Schick cause he will bench Higuain sooner rather than later mark my words(he is all what we lost when Zlatan left for Merda)
