He said himself he's not ready for Juve this season, he wants to remain at Atalanta and join when Caldara does, another year from now. I read this 1-2 weeks ago.

Maybe, but James seems easier to get, plays all 3 roles behind Higgy and he's 3 years younger.
Why settle for one of them - lets get both :)

One thing is crystal clear. The midfield needs a footballing enforcer to complement Pjanic and Marchisio. There needs to be a ball carrier capable of using PACE and guile to link to the forward players. Pogba did this and we need someone with a sense of midfield authority and Pirlo's creative vision/distribution when going forward.

If we want to see Juventus claim a seventh successive Scudetto - against a background of a major transfer campaign by both Milan clubs - it has to be recognised that Marotta will have to go into the market with record spending to maintain a material advantage over Roma, Napoli and the Milan clubs.

The defence needs just 1 addition and similarly the attack just needs 1 more ( a proven goalscorer already playing in a top European league).

The midfield needs major reinforcement. Serious consideration has to be given to jettisoning Rincon, Lemina and Sturaro. There are a very limited number of world class central/attacking midfield players that fit the Vidal/Pogba template, but they are out there. The likelihood is that a large sum - say €70m - will be required to land the player that will offer the chance to maintain our advantage for the 17/18 season.

All should become clear in the next 2/3 weeks starting with Schick over the next few days and the others soon thereafter.

We have a proven goalscorer, and we have a standin with Mandzukic.

What we completely lack, are options for LW/CAM/RW. 3 out of 4 offensive players ran out of form. Mandzukic and Higuain ran out of breath. Cant have this happening. We need 7 players for 4 positions. We currently have 5.

I completely agree on the CM. This has to be the first and foremost priority

Give me fucking Verratti.

We definitely need more energetic and powerful CM. The modern game demands players not just to be technically gifted, but also be an athlete (look at real madrid). Tolisso would be my best guess, the guy has the lungs of an ox, good shooting, pace, and vision.

I guess we need two fullbacks, two wingers, midfielder and a GK. It seems logical to me...
IMO we need 2 guys in the middle due to Khedira's injuries and a question mark sitting on Marchisio's head.

We also need a striker and that's why Nedved is pushing for the kid from Sampdoria. I think that's a done deal already.

:agree:

But with to new wingers, Cuardado and Pjaca, we could play Mandzukic in attack or Dybala. Also we now play with only two midfielders, and with Pjanic, Khedira, Marchisio, we probably need one more that can be a starter, and then we gonna keep Rincon and/or Sturaro.

However I could be wrong and we could easily keep Lichtsteiner as a RB and only bring new LB.

Kinda hope we get some tit bits from those real estate guys. Remember those 'South American top goal scorer' looking for a house in Turin rumors ? Those rumors cropped up long before journalists got info on our interest in Higuaín.

:D I don't think there's mutual love between Juve and Lichtsteiner, I think he's leaving.

I, for one, don't know what to think of Pjaca. I expeted a lot more. He's talented but it seems something is holding him back. Dunno why but I wouldn't be surprised if we sold him this summer to England or Spain.
