like someone emntioned, i think the club is pretty much obliged to do expensive signings this summer.

1-Because we are starting a new era with the new juve brand and we need some pster boys to make fuss.

2-Because we just got rofstomped in the final...and if our goal is to win the CL...we need top players to not get rofstomped and win the cup. Is no science.

We got the money, we got the excuses.

Why not? We can afford this shit now, and we're obsessed with the CL. We need some star power
Such mercato behaviour matches some emotional sheikh playboy owner. Beppe is the face of calm rationality and steadiness. We are going to see a few minor additions up to Bernadeschi size and anything bigger will be signed upon a sale. This is our stile

One thing I hope we put to bed where the CL is concerned, is 'defence wins championships'

Sure, leagues yeah. But this is 1000000% not the case. If you play like Madrid play in the CL, your defence doesn't get tested much at all. The old school Italia method has failed us in finals time and time again. You take the game to your opponents in the CL final, or you $#@! off home.

We need one fantastic, rapid winger at least and a top CM. Preferably 2 wingers.
This! This x infinity! This club must come to realization, ever since we got to cl finals business in the 70s, probably in accumulative we have arguably the best defense in europe.

But look, it certainly didn't help us winning cl while other teams that give no fucks about defending can win more than us.

So why keep trying to fail in the same manner? It's insanity and idiocy.

Try something new, build different football for once.

If we have a motto that winning is the only thing that matter then we should have a courage to change our tradition that have proven again failed to give us what we want the most.

Yeh.

Its ridiculous. Its like banging our heads against a wall hoping to break it and failing oncce after another.

We will risk a little more in defence, but then use defenders like rugani who is a stud. But the main point is to let our attackers attack without having to be playing like defenders the whole game .

I want to see juventus adoptin a more offensive mentality, to dominate the midfield. This will ease the pressure a lot of our defending lines and will make us understand how to score goals, how to win without having to wait for the enemy to take the initiative , to soak pressure and thats it

Move back to the diamond.

sign Sanchez, Kovacic, Gueye, Sakho

-----------Sanchez-------Higuain---------
--------------------Dybala-----------------
-------------kovacic------Gueye----------
---------------------Pjanic-----------------
-Sandro----Bonucci-----Sakho-----Alves
--------------------Buffon-----------------

Wish we could get a more dynamic striker but after getting Higuain for a mini fortune, we're stuck with him.

Buffon/Neto

Alves/Conti---Bonu/Benatia/Barza--Rugani/Chiello/Barza--Sandro/Spinazzola

Tolisso/Khedira/Sturaro/Bentancur---Pjanic/Marchisio/Bentancur

Sanchez/Cuads/Pjaca-------- Dybala/Pjaca--------Mandzu / Keita /Pjaca

---------------------------------- Higgy/ Schick/ Mandzu------------------------------------

4-2-3-1

They gotta get serious now

Sanchez (Di maria if Sanchez isnt possible) 40-50ml
Tolisso 40ml
Conti 20ml (with a loan of Orsolini)
Spina return from loan
Keita 25ml (last year of contract)
Schick 25ml

150 ml

sell some dead weight we can probably recover like 30- 40 ml

Could change to a 4 3 3 if need be, even a 4 3 1 2

I'd say that's realistic, hopefully.
@JuveJay what do you think we need?

Not liking the 4-2-3-1. It works ok in the league, but when teams press hard Dybala gets taken out of the game.

Get:

Tolisso
Milinković-Savić
De Scilgio
Keita (or if we're dreaming Mbappe)
Schick

4-3-2-1. Dybala and Keita in their natural positions, able to drift wide and link with the full backs, or drift in on their dangerous foot. I really didn't like Keita for a long time, but he's really impressed as a SS. Of course Mbappe in that formation would be next level.

I would also be fine with this but change de Sciglio and get Conti as well
