Sell Lemina too along with the 3 I mentioned. They gotta go.

Yah goes without saying we need to extend that to our midfield.

Nothing special, just some players with a bit of intelligence. Could find some bench fodder in Serie A on the cheap easily.




Our main chunk of cash NEEDS to go on first choice wingers though. At least 1 of our wings needs a World Class winger. We're doing amazingly with what we have now but I guarantee we'll be figured out next season and Cuadrado and Mandzukic will have a torrid time. And we'll have a torrid time watching them kill attacks too.

With what we spent last season and the fact we are making more money this year than last year there is no reason why we can't fix our RB/LB backups and our attack.

Get De Sciglio b/c he can play both sides and won't be expensive.
Sanchez for LAM and get Mario back up top rotating with Higuain.
Cuadrado for backup and find a RM.

Sanchez would be the most but not like an Higuain kind of expensive. Regardless, the alternatives are out there and within our reach.

We simply can trust those players anymore.

Because the others (Buffon, Bonucci, Benatia, Marchisio, Alves, Higuain, Dybala, Mario, Pjanic, etc) all proved over the entire season they can play at this level with THIS team.

Asa, Licht, Stu and Lem haven't done squat. But to argue to keep anyone of them because they played a good 45 against a team that crushed us today is sketchy yo. Not a good enough reason I think you know that.

Lemina and Sturaro are 5th and 6th choice CMs that are forced to play out of position due to our sudden formation change in January, at the beginning of the season (lemina), and around November-December (Stu) both have proven their value when we 1st were without Marchisio and Lemina was starting and then when our 4312 lacked that aggressive pressing CM for it to work and Sturaro was given that role. they are rotation players, still relatively inexperienced, but very useful for various tactical roles, but they were given a much more important role this season than they are used to (injuries, new formation with no depth) so they wont be up for it at times. i dont know what you expect from them, but to want them out after an away game to the 2nd/3rd best team in the league, and when they actually played well? come on. for the record, Lemina will probably be sold and we will sign that new CM, but cant see Sturaro leaving at all. the guy even signed a new contract few months ago.

What is your point though? That this single goal redeems their obvious lack of talent compared to our starting XI? Lemina and Sturaro will never make the cut in our starting XI ever, so I'd rather we sign, or develop, players than can actually some day usurp someone from our XI.

BTW we conceded 3 goals and lost with them on the pitch if you didn't notice. I'd stick by my words even if we won tbh.

The more talented bench we have the better. One thing is to want 25 starters and the other is to be happy with the sturaros of the world.

See, we need bench players good enough to test our starters. Thats the only way we can stwitch without losing enourmous quality like we are doing now.

Real madrid exxagerates on this matter, but they definitely have manpower to win all their competitions. We need to get closer to that if we dont want to have supreme drops of levels.
