I think you are wrong about Verratti - If we get him is to either play 4-3-3 / 4-3-2-1 or the least likely scenario of 4-2-3-1 with Dybala on the wing and Verratti behind the forward - I just cant see both Pjanic and Verratti play together - teams with physique will cause us lots of trouble in the middle
It is true Verratti can do some defensive work but I`m still not convinced by their strength and they will be very prone in the air...
If you put a midfield trio you solve it with another man therefore making your mid less prone.. Verratti Pjanic Marchisio could be awesome Dybala Higuain Cuadrado upfront... or Dybala Cuad behind Higuain (whatever you want to call it)
4-2-3-1 could be another option but should both Verratti and Pjanic play CM it might be too much - maybe 4-2-3-1 with Dybala on the left Verratti in the middle and Cuad on the right...

Lets wait and find out - Anyway its more likely we will get Tolisso and a winger like Bernardeschi

true but we would still have Khedira on the bench, so we could put him on vs such teams

yeah..what happened to Lion? He peaked in the seasons Llorente was here....but after that faded into obscurity. China super league material.
@Lion we miss you. :lion:

:howler: You should go back to watching basketball if you are questioning MikeM's footballing knowledge. That guy can school you (in his sleep) regarding anything football related. You're way out of your league here.
Or just maybe out of meds?.

Actually Im not sure about it - I see us selling Khedira to MLS.. Khedira will leave if he isnt a starter IMO

I`ll skip on Martial - Always thought he is overrated...

thats a hypothetical scenario though, we arent getting Verratti ofcourse (this summer atleast :klin:), and regardless of who we get or not, no way Khedira is leaving to the MLS in the year before the World Cup, and dont see him leaving Juve this summer at all

Khedira has proven over his career, that the only way dealing with a transfer is his way. He has a clear plan what to do and when to do it and he wont make rash decisions or being pressured to leave. I agree he wont move to MLS this summer, but maybe PL could be on his to-do list before USA.

We need more forwards/wingers if we plan to keep this formation. There is no one to rotate with Dybala-Mandzu-Higgy. An injury to one of these guys at this point of the season and we'd be fucked bad, Im talkin' Ann Darrow in the lair of King Kong bad. Maybe promote Kean to the senior team next year, hope Pjaca recovers by November and maybe add 1-2 more attackers. Schik looks promising for Samp. We've got good relations with them and a call from Nedved would convince any Czech player to come to Juve.

I think we are one short if we keep this formation in the forward third. We need another versatile forward like pjaca on bench. Mandzukic plays well on the left but who knows whethers pjaca can make that his own.

Cuad dyb pjaca
hig

With mand and one more as back up. Kean may be keen but does he need some time on loan?

I think he will decide his future based on our plans for him. If a world class CM arrives, that creates a problem for Khedira in a world cup year, so he will probably leave... I would love for him to stay as a sub, but I have so much respect for the guy I'll accept every decision he makes.
