Rachid Ghezzal from Lyon is a freebie in the summer, anyone here who watched him frequently that would want him at Juve?

even as a backup player for free? lets say we sign di Maria or Sancehz for a high sum (60M+) and want to add another 3rd-4th option winger, we wont (and cant i think) go for another expensive one but will look at those cheap ones that can play 15-20 games a season. my question was what are Ghezzals qualities, whats he good and whats he bad at, and is good enough for such role of a bench player? im aware that we will need better than him to start for us
Ghezzal would be just adding crappy foreign depth that we don't need and who will never have a future with the club: he's average as fukk. Top teams like Madrid and Bayern don't do that, but instead bring up players like Asensio and Kimmich from the youth teams as back-ups that have the potential to one day be first team players. We have Orsolini, Kean and Clemenza who I'd be happy to put on against the likes of Pescara when we need to rest Pjaca, Cuadrado, Higuain, Dybala, Mandzukic and hypothetically a "Sanchez". 6 starting attackers for the key games and 3 reserve back-ups for the fodder teams: that's overkill right there, especially when we have attacking wing-backs like Sandro and Alves to hypothetically cover the wings aswell. Not to mention, signing a world class midfielder and winger might be the death of 4-2-3-1 and move Juve towards a different formation with less attackers.

We never relied on primavera kids, to expect us to do so now is baseless. We have Mandzukic, Cuadrado, Dybala, Higuain and Pjaca. Our next signing for them will be an expensive one (even Berna costs), but we will still need another depth option. My question (to those who watch Lyon) was, would Ghezzal be good enough for that role, and what are his qualities, because the only things i know about him is that hes a starter for Lyon and will be a freebie in the summer

I've watched enough to know that he's average. You also just got an answer from someone from Lyon who said he is average. So essentially we'd just get an foreign, average player with no future at the club as a depth choice, whos only job would be to cover the couple of games when one of our 6 starting attackers need a rest: which is rarely. I'd rather we fill those spots with homegrown, hungry youngsters eager to impress, doesn't matter if that's not how we do things. My two cents.

He would be a direct replacement for Xabi Alonso (retiring) and Lahm (soon retiring) so he has a possible spot for himself in the team. A sound deal for free, even if Bayern would decide to find someone better later on. Ghezzal for us on the other hand would be a foreign player with no future added just for depth. I'd like for us to be in a situation where every single player in our team can function as a starter, or has the possibility to one day become that.

The only situation I can think of is if Coman refuses to sign with Bayern, similar to Salah a few years ago. If that happens, and agreed upon deal also requires a player signing a contract. If the player refuses to sign the contract, the transfer agreement is useless. The only exception, which is atypical is the Morata agreement when the contract was pre-signed. If that is the case for Coman, his transfer to Bayern will be a formality. Therefore, if City approaches Coman's agent and says: "refuse Bayern, Pep wants you", and Coman agrees. He could say no to any Bayern contract offer and return to Juventus, where Juventus would sell him to City.
It doesent matter if hes foreign or not, cut the crap. We will need 2 attacking options in the summer and one of them will be very expensive - thats a given almost. Will we have enough funds to sign another expensive one? Im not sure, which is why these players like Ghezzal are interesting. Hes good enough to play regularly at Lyon, and Raphael still hasnt answered my 2nd question about if hes good enough as a bench/rotation option and what type of player he is, what are his strengths and weaknesses etc
