Real money.

Real money we earn by having quality players like Mandzu who assure that we finish first in the league.

Not to mention that we need a replacement if we sell him.

so would you rather have mandzukic than Alexis Sanchez? If the answer is yes, this conversation isn't even worth anymore energy.

If it's no, then I ask you this; do you think mandzukic would be happy as a substitute? He would literally only play when Higuain needs a rest, which is rare. Or do you want Pjacas development stunted even more?

That's the reality I see.

+ Sturaro. thats 6

- - - Updated - - -

Zaza, Lemina, Coman + the money we saved last year by selling pogba +morata (we did not invest extra money on the transfer market as we used generated sales revenue only).
Sturaro wont play DM in a 2 man midfield. He will play when we go 352/4312 or sub off one of the wingers.

It's pointless. These real business men, the elite of sport economics here in tuz will sell anyone who is close to 30 because that's how real business works.

I'm surprised so many of them want Sanchez in the summer. They must not realize he will be 29. Well, 28 turning 29 in December, but so was Higuain this past summer and we heard endless moans about how we bought a 29 year old for 90 mil with no resale value. :hihi:

More like "we bought a CL choker for 90M, and sold a CL clutch performer for 30M". Bad business

If we dont buy a lb, asa can stay, if not sell.

Benatia, im not sure. On one hand, he would be good cover, but then we will have 5 cbs for 2 positions. Rugani and bon will most likely play. If barza retires or is sold, then i think benatia is a must.

On midfield, lemina and sturaro should be sold, and buy one world beater.

Khedira, marchisio, pjanic, rincon, new guy. I would like to have mandragora too.

On forward line buy sanchez and keep mandzukic. Buy berardi too and call it a day.

He's also missing a little detail.

If we sell Mandzu for let's say €20m, it leaves us with Higgy as our only CF.
So we have to buy a new CF, but guess what, for €20m you won't find a better CF than the one you've just sold + the money is gone and can't be spent on Sanchez anymore. It's a great move if you intend to weaken our depth for CL games though, i mean we aren't making money of CL wins after all :sarcasm:

Btw. I don't think we have to sell to afford a Sanchez who's gonna be out of contract in a year.

Sell Dybala before he's turning 25. It's all downhill from there.

We also need to remember wages, we need to keep the total wage bill on an acceptable level. Of players that will likely leave we have:

Evra 2.5M (already left)
Lemina 1.2M
Asamoah 1.6M
Nanes 3M (gone)

Thats 8.3M, with Dybala getting a raise from 3M to 7M, we would still be on 4.3M less than we had this January. Add Sanchez ~7M, Tolisso ~3M, Berardi ~2M, Kolasinac ~2M and we are on a ~10M raise (we also raised Bonuccis, Ruganis and Alex Sandros wages too this season iirc, and bought Rincon). Do we normally increase the total wage budget by 10M last 2-3 mercatos? In 2015 we lost high earners like Pirlo, Vidal, Tevez, last season it was Pogba and Morata, as well as Zaza. If its not common for us to increase our wage bill by that much, some others might leave, like Licht 2.8M and Benatia 2M. Also some less likely ones that will probably stay but cant be excluded as possible candidates to leave such as Khedira 4M, Sturaro 1.5M, Neto 2M

People here is taking for granted that 30m for Sanchez is more than enough, well It isn't and if Beppe can pull this off is just cuz he's one of the best doing his job... U know who else is ending contract in 2018? Messi. Maybe 60m is more than enough for Farca :sergio:

It's a little thing called business. Mandzukic is 30 years old. You sell high, not low. Sanchez is a winger, perfect in this current formation, and a world class player. I'm not shitting on mandzukic. He's a good player, but I'm not about to say no to Sanchez because of him. Now THAT is the peasant mentality. Get lost.
What the fuck is that for a pathetic excuse.

Actual top teams keep players that are beneficial untill they arent any longer. We arent a fucking sales team like fucking Roma or Napoli. Oh what ? Tevez and Pirlo retired, Vidal wanted out and we sold the shitwhore for money that brought pjanic and Higuain.

Mandzukic is the prime and single reason we are playing this amazing audacious formation. Without Mandzukic, we arent playing goddamn pussy Pjanic - Khedira + Dybala in the center. Get that firmly in your skull right now peasant.

Its time for two things for peasant fuckers like you

1) DYBALA IS NOT A WINGER
2) NO MANDZUKIC, NO 4231

Mandzukic is a starter with Sanchez and Without sanchez

You talk about business like a fucking prick. Allright fucking prick. Mandzukic turns 31 in 3 months time. Please elaborate what the average price is for a hardworking average scoring forwards at that age ?

Pjaca's development stunted ? Excuse me ? What fucking nonsense is that ?

But you know that no one is gonna spend 20 mil on a 31 year old striker with considerable wages

Also, good luck explaining to the crowd that the guy drawing by far the most cheers and applause is getting sold

What the $#@! is that for a pathetic excuse.

Actual top teams keep players that are beneficial untill they arent any longer. We arent a $#@!ing sales team like $#@!ing Roma or Napoli. Oh what ? Tevez and Pirlo retired, Vidal wanted out and we sold the $#@!$#@! for money that brought pjanic and Higuain.

I must have missed the part where I said Dybala was a winger. Please show me where I said that.

Cuadrado Dybala Sanchez

Higuain

But back to mandzukic. I said he's 30 because the next contract he gets in 2018 will most likely be his last one. Him being relegated to the bench would impact that last contract. So unless Juve is prepared to extend his contract, at starter wages that he rightfully deserves, they have to sell. We are not Real Madrid. We are not Barcelona. We can't afford to let players walk for free at the end of their contracts. Seriously, who was the last impact player that we allowed to walk for free?

A stupid idiot is a guy saying we should sell a starter who is the prime reason we play this amazing audacious formation, 'cause he's too old', because we can get a player who's 2 years younger form that money.

Knowing that Mandzukic will hardly bring any money at all, and the other guy is around 50 mil

Here is the deal peasant : Sanchez will bench cuadrado. He'll play with Mandzukic.

Finally, a reasonable post.

And I never said mandzukic is old, just that he'll want to maximize his next contract, which could very well be the last legit payday of his career.

His last contract in competitive football is with Juventus

Someone who thinks selling ManBro is a good deal, has read the book "the art of the deal". Which says enough.

It's also a matter of sports and performance, you don't sell your asset, unless he's replaceable.
By that logic, we should sell Pirlo after his 1st season here.

Of course business pov is important, but Juve is a Sports Club, the 1st priority should be winning, and it would be much easier if you can hold to your asset.
If business all important for our BOD, we'll go full Arsenal.
And the last thing you want as a Juve fan is to support Arsenal.

Sorry @Fred 😆

Beside, who said we can't have both Sanchez and Manbro?
And before someone tell me, the opposite also true.

Getting Sanchez will be great (We are not getting him unless we sell Dybala though...) but any kind of a Mandzukic sale for 30M or less is ignorant!
The guy might be 30 but he does so much work and we wont get anyone for that kind of sum who is as good as him...
I rather keep him even if as a sub for that kind of money...
Mandzukic should cost at least 40M...

Anyway if we dont sell Dybala I guess our market will be:
1. Tolisso 35-40M
2. Bentacur 9M
3. Orsolini (how much did he cost?)
4. Bernardeschi 33M
5. Benatia making him permanent
6. Coman Sold,Berardi missed on,Kolasinac missed on

Bernardeschi for 33 million?! :howler:

Why can we not get Sanchez? We have the money, and if he wants an interesting/winning project, then we are definitely in with a very good chance, irrespective of Dybala. We don't need to sell Dybala to fund a deal for Sanchez FFS! Now, Verratti is a whole different matter altogether.

Seems B81 is working for Corsport. First Savic now Fofana

Juventus has an agreement with Udinese for the signing of Alex Meret in the summer at €5m & they're also interested in Fofana. [Corsport]
