If you look at the best modern keepers now (Buffon, Neuer, De Gea, Courtois, Lloris, Oblak, Handanovic, Navas) only Lloris (1.88m) and Navas (1.85m) are under 1.90m.

It's not a huge deal but you can expect a certain type of keeper when Navas, Bravo, Akinfeev and Ruffier are your kind of height.

I remember Oliver Kahn, now a pundit on German TV, saying that a top level GK needs to be at least 1,88 a few years ago.

Given the change in formation we have an overload of CMs with not enough RW/LW/AMs. Given we need at least 2 players for each position:

RW: Cuadrado, Berardi
LW: Sanchez Pjaca
AM: Dybala, (Pjanic)
CF: Higuain, Mandzukic

To be honest, in the CM position we have Khedira, Marchisio, Pjanic, Tolisso, Rincon Sturaro and even Asamoah. Thats 7 players for 2 positions. We need to get rid of at least 2. Rincon and Asamoah?

It's a little thing called business. Mandzukic is 30 years old. You sell high, not low. Sanchez is a winger, perfect in this current formation, and a world class player. I'm not shitting on mandzukic. He's a good player, but I'm not about to say no to Sanchez because of him. Now THAT is the peasant mentality. Get lost.

Zaza, Lemina, Coman + the money we saved last year by selling pogba +morata (we did not invest extra money on the transfer market as we used generated sales revenue only).
