But they don't need the repairs that we badly need. Real are just amazing, Liverpool will do good but they are not a top team anymore while Tottenham is already strong and don't need much. They did sell Walker but they are playing some kid who seems impressive. Barca will buy players.

Still, none of them are in a need to fix their team badly as we are. None of them suffered a loss in defense, literally losing 2 of their starters while also neither of those teams are as fragile in mid as we are.
It's all a matter of perspective. Real after pocketing so much money could for example replace Benzema with Lewandowski. Did they do it? No. Would their fans like that? Definitely yes. Would it further improve them? Yes.

Liverpool need a lot of players, defenders, central mids, a CF yet they did not buy any. A lot of people could say they need a much better keeper as well.

Tottenham already strong? I guess they could do some signings in order to improve their chances for the title. Yet they don't do it.

Barca maybe will buy but so far they did not.

Juventus secured the replacements for Alves and Bonu. Alves was basically a RWF here and we brought both Costa and Berna. Maybe Keita will also come in. For Leo we have Rugani ready to step in.

Man I just saw some EPL higlights, Morata, Lukaku,Mane, all of those will run riot against our very slow defense..I know they also dont have that strong defenders, but if they were to play us currently, we will be beaten by all that speed.. I so wish Matic went to us.. 50M is definitely worth his quality, compared to the 40 we will probably pay for N'zonzi...

I really hope Del Piero is right that we have someone we havent been linked with that is coming! I hope its someone great!

Still, there were some great transfers.

From the players we've been linked to... call me crazy but I think Strootman without injuries would be one of the best moves in Europe. If I had a guarantee he'll stay injury-free I'd easily go after him without thinking twice. However, his injuries are really a killer.

So, if we ignore him for that sole reason, I'd go after N'Zonzi.

Matuidi would be my third choice as I'm really not a fan of Can from Liverpool.

Sad fact: I think we need somebody who's better than all of the mentioned above.
I agree but there aren't much options out there that are obtainable.

I would love Casemiro for example but good luck with that.

You must be kidding. Defenders leave acres of space in EPL hence the attackers you mentioned look so impressive. Is Lazio's defence quick like a lightening? No. Did they shut us down completely? Yes.

We should've sold Higuain when Chelsea came asking, and play Dybi as the CF in a 4-3-3.

Half serious :D
Higuain is amazing when on form but honestly 90M is way above his worth.. Higuain is a 60-70M at best - We should have sold him for what Chelsea offered and should use the money to get Mbappe who is young fast and could form an amazing partnership with Dybala

As for our mid - It seems Matuidi it is but I would much rather go for Strootman who IMO can take us to the next level

Who is our starter RB? According to you, is he enough?

Good point. This is why EPL's playing style looks attractive and they always fail in Europe.

You know what? 70m for SMS isn't so crazy anymore.

I'd offer lotito 50m and call his bluff though. Let's see him reject that much.
l'd spend 70 on him rathar spending 40 m euros on N'zonzi.

C'mon, you are telling me that Barca doesn't need to fix their defence or/and midfield?

If u think Real can go to Bayern and buy their most important player, then u have no clue what u r talking about.

Our best lineup imo would be this

Buffon

Spinazzola Rugani Chiellini Sandro (spin has played next to Rugani as a RB with the national team)

Marchisio Nzonzi

Dybala (free role ala Messi) Pjanic Costa

Higuain

Benzema is an important Madrid player. He's one of the main links between RM's offense. I doubt Zidane is desperate to replace him.

I didn't mean they could do it without breaking a sweat but theoretically I could see it happening if Real really wanted it.

This is true. However, Lewa is better than Benzema. Also, it would not be the first time Real making a transfer just for the buzz.

It looks like MDS gonna be our RB. I'm not totally comfortable with it but neither I'm gonna cry. Last season we had Liecht and Barza as our RBs (Alves was mainly used as a RWF. Ppl here were moaning he was over-doing things while deployed as RWB or RB). I can't see any good RB available in the market.

It's not quick players that cause us issues. It's teams that press out defence and midfield for 90 minutes, and generally just outrun us. Happened against the likes of Inter last year when our players never wanted to go into top gear. Happened against Lazio yesterday
