Gomes is a good player but does not have the necessary grit and determination that should be the minimum requirement for our current needs.

We need a more dominating figure with real athleticism and an ability to read the defensive part of the game with assurance, a la Garay, Vidal, Pogba, Nainggolan, N'Zonzi.

Matuidi seems about the only one we seem to be serious about.

If he is than he is hiding it very well.

Although I expect Juventus specific mercato newsflow to be slow, this week is still a pretty important week once the Neymar to PSG transfer is finalized. We should know within 7 days which forward Barca is prioritizing. Lets hope its not Dybala.
Why people are so afraid barfa is gonna target Dybala? It's very different from Pogba sale because we're not getting a record breaking fee after Neymar goes for 222m. If fcb offers 200mln and Paula wants to leave, do it. We won't sell him below 180mln this summer imo.

Lazio prepare De Vrij renewal, but...
By Football Italia staff

Lazio are reportedly hoping to renew Stefan de Vrij’s contract soon, but the defender would want a release clause of only €10-15m.

According to Corriere dello Sport, these are “decisive days” for De Vrij’s future as Lazio plan to begin talks over extending his contract imminently.

The newspaper explains the Aquile’s desire to negotiate a new deal for the Dutchman has been known since the end of June.

However, while they are happy to include a release clause in the contract, Il Corriere claims De Vrij is only willing to commit if his deal can be bought out for a low fee.

The 24-year-old joined Lazio in 2014 for €7m and could leave for nothing next summer as it stands.

Lucas Biglia did not sign a new deal with Lazio, instead joining Milan last month, while Keita Balde Diao is also likely to leave, with there only being a year left on his contract.

If SMS isn't possible Gomes still wouldnt be a good option
Fixed!
Gomes is Barca`s flop and lets keep it like this - He isnt a bad player but he is exactly what we dont need - a soft player who has nothing special in him.. No grit and no great talent..
I rather we dont buy at all than buy this overrated player..
The only thing he is underrated in is how much he flops - He is a Tiago 2.0 in every sense
