Juventus to sign Penner?
By Football Italia staff

Reports suggest Juventus have a deal to sign Sparta Prague youngster Nicolas Penner.

According to Sportmediaset, the midfielder, who will turn 16 on June 19, has been training with the Bianconeri for several months.

The Czech player has convinced the Turin club to offer him a contract, and he will officially join up with the Primavera team.

There was competition from Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, but club legend Pavel Nedved acted as an intermediary and convinced Penner.

I don't put much faith in Alves, so far he hasn't looked like a Barca version. If he is gonna get back -> we don't need RB. Otherwise we really do.
I can name more than 5 RBs that are better than Licht, doubt you'd agree with all of them, but let's start with 5:
Impossible – Meunier, Carvajal, Lahm
Possible – Sidibe, Bellerin
His Barca version?!
1. Barca plays in the La Liga so you the play is different there - His attacking abilities are more shown while his defensive goes less noticed..
2. He gets older every year you know..
3. I dont think he has been that great in his last year playing for Barca..

Carvajal is overrated, Bellerin isnt there yet, Didnt see much of Meunier so wont comment on him, Lahm is way past it as well and I think he is on the same level as Alves.. While Sidibe - I havent watched Monaco much so again cant comment on this..
Do you have others in mind?
Licht is better than all defensive wise by the way which is something people take too lightly...

I have a friend from Chile, named Hector Fortunata, who happens to be on vacation in London. According to him Alexis Sanchez is already moving his furniture.

The truck driver, Hector says, was a rather big bald italian.

I didnt understand why we are comparing Juve to Arsenal?! Is it a question of who is better? If it is - an Arsenal fan would tell you Juve are stronger...

Barcelona Real Madrid Bayern are the 3 elite clubs with Atl Madrid PSG and Juventus doing all they can to make it 4 elite clubs! PSG are the most ready money wise while Atl Madrid are the team which reach their potential the best but Id say Juve are the most balanced of the three with good management talent and money
If we dont sell our top players and sign 1 or 2 great additions we will surely enter the world of the elites!
We already are among the elite, been there for a while too.

Barca is going down. There, i said it. Their front three can't always bail them out. Aging Iniesta won't play forever, same with Pique (...not that i ever rated him anyway) and Messi. What's left without them?
They'll just replace them with other world class players (obviously not with someone on Messi's level.)

That's the Problem. You can't just replace them.

You have to be lucky to find high quality replacements who aren't already at a big club. Look at Bayern. Robben, Ribery and Lahm will all be gone soon and all the money in the world can't replace them.

Obviously Barca is still gonna be a good team, but the times where other teams feared them are over.

Verratti could be an adequate replacement for Iniesta. Pique shouldn't be hard to replace either. But yeah, they won't be the same without Messi. However, their wealth and appeal means they can still pull some of the best players around (as you say, the ones not at Real and Bayern).

I think they'll be at least a top 4 team for years to come, though thankfully not as dominant as before. Maybe there'll be a more balanced big 4 for a few years, where Juve, Real, Barca and Bayern can all be considered favourites for the CL.

After the hype and marketing dominance they created in the last 10 years... i think they will be set for decades.

They will not suddenly dissapear, but like you said, they will have a hard time covering the holes iniesta, xavi and messi will leave.

Do not fool urselves..they will continue being as competitive as we currently are... but nothing like the barcelona which destroyed everything in eruope a couple times...years ago.

Neymar.

I just can't see it. They have the prestige now and many up and coming players have dreamed to play there, should be quite easy to get players. Their biggest problem for the time being is that they have some players on really big wages.
