-as Serie A sides cannot offer the financial benefits that are on offer in the Premier League.

-Turin giants have dominated Italian football for a number of years but have struggled to make progress on the European stage since finishing runners-up in the Champions League to Barcelona in 2015. As such, their players could decide it’s time for a new challenge and Arsenal ...

- Bosnian international Miralem Pjanic hasn’t quite lived up to expectation in Turin, the Italian giants will be keen to recoup the €32m they spent.

-Arsenal may be well-stocked of midfield talent but

FFS ::lol3::

It has indeed been years of struggle in europe between the 2015 final and the 2017 knockouts, where we are basically in the quarters and arse is basically out.

I hope they finish 4th, and draw us in the group stages, so we can steamroll them home and away. Something like a combined score of 5-0 or 6-0 should do. Bunch of pathetic delusional fuckwits.

:tuttosport::tuttosport:

We are winning the treble back to back if we sign Sanchez, mark my words.
Well as long as youre objective...

With Sanchez we will be much stronger but we still missing strength in midfield!
2 midfielders needed
1 WC
1young who is already good but with lots of potential

arsenal :ratcafe:

Juve
14/15 CL final
15/16 Round of 16
16/17 likely Quarterfinals so far

this is only the second time since the final and they say we have struggled to progress :ratcafe: meanwhile we are still in the CL and they are surely out ::lol3::

Arsenal
14/15 Round of 16
15/16 Round of 16
16/17 Round of 16

also we might take Sanchez from them ::lol3::

We would be far more competitive with proper RB, it's far more pressing matter imo than Sahcnez and CM.
We need both tbh. Sanchez is an opportunity we cant let pass. As simple as that. Now that we are playing a formation that suits him.. it would be madness to not sign him if h is available.

On the other hand, We need a RB of Sandro calibre. It would help us sooo much since a lot of our football go from that wing, but Licht simply is not up to it anymore. We nee a young good RB to match sandro on the other side.

My ideal mercato would be:
Sell Zaza, Coman, Lemina, Sturaro. This will most likely cover the fee of one top signing.

Buy: Sanchez, Verrati/Tolisso and a good RB (or promote Lirola to learn from ALvez/Licht).
If we really want to go all guns blazing, buy one of Berardi/Bernardeschi too.
Integrate Mandragora into the first team and we are good to go.

GK: Buff, Nento

RB: Licht, Alvez, Lirola
CB: Rugani,Chiello,Barza,Bon
LB: Sandro, Asa

MF: Marchisio, Khedira, Pjanic,Verrati,Mandragora.

Attackers: Cuadrado, Berardi, Dybala, Sanchez, Pjaca

CF: Higuain, Mandzukic.

Go big or Go home.

No doubt about signing Sanchez if there is an opportunity :beppe:
But RB issue should be addressed in any circumstances. Opposing teams often forces us to start attack from the right, because they know that Licht would just throw ball blindly.

It's true that we have struggled to make progress on the European stage since finishing runners-up in the Champions League.

However their progress would be making the Quarterfinals while ours would be winning the whole thing. That alone should tell how far apart these two teams are.

I didnt understand why we are comparing Juve to Arsenal?! Is it a question of who is better? If it is - an Arsenal fan would tell you Juve are stronger...

Barcelona Real Madrid Bayern are the 3 elite clubs with Atl Madrid PSG and Juventus doing all they can to make it 4 elite clubs! PSG are the most ready money wise while Atl Madrid are the team which reach their potential the best but Id say Juve are the most balanced of the three with good management talent and money
If we dont sell our top players and sign 1 or 2 great additions we will surely enter the world of the elites!

We would be far more competitive with proper RB, it's far more pressing matter imo than Sahcnez and CM.
Actually the RB is not that crucial and a CM is our weakest spot for now.. an addition of Sanchez would really boost our attack
RB is a position we should think of but we have Alves who is a thousand years old but playing well and Lichtsteiner who is the most underrated player in the history of football!
Both Alves and Licht are not comparable to A.Sandro who is playing on the left but honestly its hard to find someone who does...
Can you name 5 RB that are better than Alves/Licht? Honestly I cant.. even if I would love to see us improve that area as well..

CM - When we play 2 CM we can be ok with Pjanic and Marchisio and honestly we are playing some good attacking football with this formation but our mid looks like he could be overrun when playing a strong opposition
I feel like we will get destroyed if we get Atletico and play this formation against them..
When we play 3 CM honestly I`m not that ecstatic about Marchisio Khedira Pjanic - Its ok but its not something that can be mentioned like BBC of Juve or BBC of Real (I know its not the same positions but I meant quality wise)

Our attack isnt bad - especially when you take our 2 forwards of Higuain and Dybala but if you look at who else assist them then there are few options:
1. 4-3-3 Cuadrado on the right or Mandzukic on the left - OK but we can improve
2. 4-2-3-1 Cuad on the right Mandz on the left - We can improve
3. 4-3-1-2 Dybala behind Mandz Higuain - We can improve on that as well...
4. 3-5-2 - In this formation our attack is fine but we are getting back to controlling the game through central midfield and not enough support upfront...

Honestly the 4-3-1-2 or 4-3-3 seems like the most balanced for our purpose with Dybala behind Sanchez Higuain or Dybala Higuain Sanchez trio..

I don't put much faith in Alves, so far he hasn't looked like a Barca version. If he is gonna get back -> we don't need RB. Otherwise we really do.
I can name more than 5 RBs that are better than Licht, doubt you'd agree with all of them, but let's start with 5:
Impossible – Meunier, Carvajal, Lahm
Possible – Sidibe, Bellerin
