According to Daniel Riolo from SFR Sport, Matuidi will leave PSG. It will be announced soon. He didn't want to say where Matuidi's going, but everyone, and their dogs know where it is.

Well, here in France, it's like everyone is waiting for Juve to call it official.

I can almost hear all the raging already.

It's not hating. Matuidi is a solid backup option, but after 2 CL Finals in 3 seasons, our expectations are higher, and rightfully so. An incredibly underwhelming signing if it materializes. Once again, we are going for depth in midfield, instead of actually trying to strengthen/upgrade it.

Anyway, with those names, that's a 6/10 Mercato. If Sandro leaves, I might reluctantly give it a 5, possibly a 4. It's not a mercato befitting a 2 time CL finalist in the recent past.

Watch him starting as a sub, and be a starter one month later because he's better than others, just like every f*ckting time with Matuidi, even with worldwide coaches.

Exactly, Maitudi as a back up would be amazing, however its looking like he will be the only addition.

Still not good enough. I expected more, as did many others, and rightfully so. A 30 year old Matuidi is not the ideal signing for a club of our stature and level of ambition.
He hasn't signed anything yet. Too early for past tense or calling this mercato doomed.

And also, signing Matuidi, if it happens, doesn't mean it'll be the sol signing in midfield.

The club and allegri do seem to get the most out of players. Danilo bernardeschi spinnazola and matuidi will all start and probably star for us. Our culture seems to get the best out of players.

Not saying im happy to lose sandro or alves for that matter...but players come and go as they have over the years yet we seemed to have better seasons when losing vidal and pogba and tevez etc...
