16m isn't a lot for us anymore. He's an upgrade over Neto and we will probably sign a young GK such as Meret. Let him play a full Serie A experience with SPAL. When Buffon decides to retire we can try to get a top GK such as Oblak, Donnarumma etc. Szczesny isn't bad, this isnt official and Buffon is still here. Let's relax and cross the replace Buffon bridge when we get there.
Alban Lafont is much better option than Szczney

Chesney had the most clean sheets in the league this year.

Until we're able to sign the next great Italian goalie or perhaps a shot at Donnarumma in the future, Chesney would be a decent stop gap solution.

Oh and Neto is leaving. Expect Buffon and Chesney to share gametime next season.

And seriously stop panicking over nothing. We got a CL final to enjoy.

Waiting for next great italian Worth of buffon gloves,it can take even 50 years
Future shot on Donarumma...if we cant bring him now we certainly wont be able later :/
Praying Gigi will postpone retirement
4m for the 2nd keeper annually for 15 games he will play? To who you will sell Mediocre keeper who earns 4M a year net...not panicing bro but this is ridiculous and don't make sense at all, either you are signing world class already or world class potential, and we have way more important positions to reinforce right now,Gigi will at least play next season,we could have Audero for 2nd choice, kid is decent, and cost peanuts annually

I'm from Israel so I know him quite well. looks pretty good, but our league is garbage so you never know.
think he won't be expensive anyway and can easily turn to be world class keeper eventually,he won the Golden Glove on u20 world championship few years ago, tall, strong guy, good bravery, good on 1on1,good on goal line, agile and good reflexes...
Just my opinion, what do you think you watched him definitely more

My opinion is no one can replace Gigi, certainly not this guy. he's a solid keeper but had his fair share of blunders. and always screams his defenders, even when it's his fault. but maybe it's because he's the second highest purchase in israeli football history so he thinks he's all that.
He needs a few years in a team like Lyon or whatever, a second-tier european team to really know what he's about.
That being said, I don't even think he's the best keeper in out league.

I watched him in U21 and he caught my eye. He was simply brilliant and I expected him to become great. Then I don't know how he disappeared in Red Star.

Then again, I thought the same about Pavlovski, just as did Porto when they signed him after amazing performances. But he totally disappeared.

Either way, there's no way we're ever going to sign Rajkovic. He's another example of a young goalie who won't arrive here.

Im from Israel too but I dont watch Israeli football to be honest as it is quite garbage... I did see some of him - I remember him doing some howlers but maybe he improved since..
In any case Meret Raikovic none of them are ready to play for Juve

I can't see Szczesney as a long term option, but I don't see a suitable replacement for Gigi on the market. Even Donnarumma - he may be an excellent keeper, but he has a long way to go before he demonstrates that he can match Gigi's character, and that'll be the hardest thing to replace.

I suspect that if he's being brought in it is as insurance so we have an experienced quality keeper to tide us over till we have the chance to properly replace Gigi, and then we can flip him on to the next club. Financially we're in the position we can do that now.

Deco: 'Juventus want Fabinho'
By Football Italia staff

“I know that Juventus want Fabinho and clearly he likes the Bianconeri,” said Monaco director Deco. “We’ll see what happens.”
The 23-year-old midfielder has also been heavily linked with Manchester United, Manchester City and Inter.
“I know that Juventus want Fabinho, so we’ll see what happens after the Champions League Final,” Deco told Tuttosport.
“Clearly he likes the Bianconeri, as Juventus are a big club.”
The price-tag for the Brazilian is believed to be at least €30m.
There is also another issue, as Fabinho does not have an EU passport, so if he were to come to Turin, it’d rule out Douglas Costa from Bayern Munich.
Serie A has a limit on the number of non-EU players who can enter each club’s squad.

This would be awesome. Wrap up Schick and Fabinho after the final. Use the rest of the summer to get that starting level winger, Hopefully Sanchez, and sell players we dont need like Sturaro, Lemina and Rincon.

Close to perfect Mercato.
