Bayern supporters seem to hate Douglas Costa and say he's lazy etc. Maybe he will be an "opportunity" idk.

If we are still interested in Gomes I'll give :beppe: the benefit of the doubt.

And if we want De Sciglio I'll give :allegri: the benefit of the doubt.

I would welcome Douglas, he has it in him to be quality again. Not the first player to starting struggling in 2nd season with new coach/approach.

He struggled the second part of last season too. So far a Krasic comparison is more apt than anything, on a higher level of course.

I know he did, but if you use him right he can be good. He was CM and AM too for shaktar, so he aint a Krasic type of brainless.

When he was best here his first year he played mostly on the right if I remember it right. But to be honest I havent payed much attention to him the last year time as he havent showed anything worth to remember :D
i remember him vs us coming on, cutting inside from the right and placing some dangerous 25-30 meter shots. saw some highlights where he scores goals like that for Bayern last season too. i also saw him vs Madrid where he was useless on the left, hes too easy to stop on that side because there is only one direction he can go to and hes not a trickster like Cuadrado to free himself up once closed down.

having said that, even though im not his biggest fan, wouldnt mind him here if we would use him on the right as a backup for Cuadrado, and if we cant get di Maria or Bernardeschi. he can be dangerous on the counter, and having Dani Alves and Pjanic behind him would mean he would receive balls in good positions to cut inside and shoot from distance. we lack distance shooters in the team and can see Higuain score some easy tap ins of his long range shots

That reminds me, how many outside box goals have we scored that wasnt a freekick? Alves just scored a volley one vs Monaco, and had one outside the box early in the season too. But besides that? Cuadrado vs Inter (true cannon, kinda long shots we lack), Bonucci vs Genoa  And Dybala was just on the edge of the box with his instant shot from Mandzu header pass vs Lazio. But besides that, damn do we need to improve.

P.S I realized I forgot to account for the goal who scores 50 of our goals lol, Higauin had one outside the box goal vs Napoli.

Yes thats true, his first half year was really good. But he is complaining about lack of playing time, it would just be status quo for him going from Bayern Munich to Juventus.

He should go to a mediocre club like Liverpool, it would fit him well. Mediocre player for a mediocre club
