Jungtoli thinks all clubs will just magically accept loans+options all the time. Imagine being the GM of one of those clubs, being pestered to loan all their best young wingers, then not even working in an obligation to buy. It's like hey guys, let's just take your best players at a completely risk averse setting and then yeah maybe we'll buy him next summer! How insulting.

MDG
Danilo Bremer Kalulu Cambiaso
Locatelli Douglas
Koopmeiners
Gonzalez Vlahovic Yildiz

With Gatti, Kabal, Weah, Thuram, Milik, Fagioli and Miretti as back-ups.

This team won't be able to compete with anything or anyone, 3rd place best but I reckon Inter, Milan and perhaps Roma have better teams on paper. As for the CL, unless we get a very lucky draw we'll be out of it pretty soon (hopefully we can go to the EL though).
No more going to EL when a team gets eliminated from the CL

Yes, I'd rather have a players that commits than one who wants out. Strange? I would not pick one over the other, that was in the conversation... I already said multiple times I hope Chiesa extends.

Buuuuuut... if we don't have to pick Chiesa has to extend obviously and he doesn't want to. I'd rather bite the bullet and set the tone than continue to lose players on a free and rescind contracts of players before seeing them move somewhere else, like we did under Marotta.

The problem lies with players knowing they can manipulate us and our stand is not firm. It costs you small amounts here and there but in the end they add up to a larger figure and it stinks.
Personally, I feel differently. But I can understand it.

Szczesny wages 12m per year, Di Gregorio loan 4m + 3.7m salary per year (total 7.7m this year)

Terminate Szczesny contract and give him 4.3m, total wage budget for #1 GK this year = 12m (7.7m+4.3m same as last year), total budget for #1 GK next year = 3.7m

Szczesny get around 2.2m net from this operation and he go to another club and get 4m net salary for 4 years contract so this year he still get 6.2m net just a little dent from what he usually get, he repay all of our kindness to him like what he stated in his post earlier this preseason, and he get another 3 years of 4m net as his retirement bonus (worst scenario)

Or we sell him to midtable EPL club for 5m and get long year contract with them (best scenario). or he go to Inter Miami for 5m and get 10m net per season for 2 season playing and retire with Messi there (the most happy ending scenario)
Now I am waking up @Lion, bring me my magic balls
Still hope we pay him below that of my calculation

Maybe Locatelli as back up to Thuram as from what I have seen Thuram is a lot better (at least than this version of Locatelli. The guy seems broken)

Meanwhile we are linked with Marcus Edwards. Youtube makes him look amazing but honestly I have no idea about him. In any case he seems like a RW which means N.G position..
Yeah, I reckon Locatelli will start and we’ll gradually use Thufam as a starter. But look at this team, do you think this team can challenge for the scudetto?

I believe we can get a CL spot but it all depends on how soon we adapt to Motta's rejuvenation. We will make a lot of costly errors until then. It also depends on Yildiz can live up to the expectations (that are too high) since we lack creative players.

On the one hand, there are so many if's on our end it is hard to tell. On the other hand, the league continues to be weak. How will Atalanta perform this year? It's guesswork every year. They will have periods of brilliance and then long slumps. What will happen with Lazio? They look dreadful. Roma finally realized their signing strategy was a joke, but they are on paper weaker than us. Inter is stronger than everyone else. Milan have changed coach and lost their striker, what will happen with them? Napoli is a bubble waiting to burst - can they survive Conte for a year? If so, then they might give us a fight for a CL spot.

Not really sure what to make of it, but a minimum CL spot would be good to regroup for scudetto the year after. Still too much deadwood and issues on our end. The season will be very interesting and telling of what's to come. If we get a CL spot and Motta doesn't loose the dressing room, he should be given time.

Conceicao is a very popular name amongst Juventus and the player has given his approval of a potential move to Turin. Now an agreement with Porto is needed for which a meeting has been planned between Juve and porto.(@DiMarzio)
