The fact that Adzic is already being discussed as an option on the wing tells you how things are going right now
Funniest part is our first friendly that Adzic played in before his injury. Vs Nurneberg, he was AMC, but he kept drifting to the right wing to help out Weah for the entire half, to combine with him or bail him out. Because Weah could litterally not keep the ball for more then 5 seconds lol It made Adzic looked even better.

it they’re in on him why aren’t they still in on Galeno? Aren’t they valued around the same? Nico, Edwards, and Conceicao are all primarily right wingers. Galeno is left. Something must’ve have changed cough Chiesa, or these journos are clueless again.

oh look today it’s conceicao! Let’s see who it’ll be tomorrow

#Conceição towards #Juventus

The formalization of the agreement is imminent on the basis of a loan plus obligation to buy (@abolapt )

WTF! Poor Soule shipped to Roma without a choice and doesn't even get to play with Dybala. Kid must be traumatized.
thatd be pretty funny if they brought in Soule to replace Dybala

I only brought that up because you levied the Cronios nationalism criticism, otherwise it's not really relevant to the discussion tbh. Off the top of my head Fagioli got a raise for commiting crimes though, so there's that. Be regardless of raises, there were still players making more than him while having less of an impact. Even now there is still Vlahovic making more than DOUBLE his salary. Is that deserved? You can't keep looking at it in a matter of deserved or not, it's just not how it works. You'd be mad too if you had a coworker making that more more, asked for half, and were told no it's impossible.

The bold is sort of contradictory, no? If you remember our matches from last season where Chiesa was starting, our plan seemed to be give the ball to him, and have him run forward and try to dribble through 3 or 4 players by himself which is obviously impossible since he's not prime Messi. Then of course some Tuzzers would get mad at him and talk shit for this, but that's another issue. In no world has Rabiot been more useful though. More healthy, sure. Useful as he casually walks about the pitch and lets opposing players run through him, I disagree. But even then, we did issue him that whole "ultimatum" before the Euros to renew at the same wage, aka higher than what Chiesa is currently asking for, no?

No, Rabiot is a cunt for being a weak, lackadaisical bitch for all those years while being one of our highest earners, talking some bullshit about not seeing "the real Rabiot" yet in interviews. Physically blessed, but one of the laziest players on Earth, that is unforgivable to me. Using the club as leverage is the least of the issues, hell we all do the same with our jobs.

I would also say this last paragraph is also a bitch contradictory, they can't be more loyal and it also be an untrue generalization.

Speaking of loyalty though, I keep seeing the argument about how we were "loyal" to Chiesa while he was injured. How is that, exactly? By not attempting to rescind his contract or sell him for a huge loss? This club did nothing out of the ordinary on that front, Fagioli's situation would be an example of that.

No, €20-25 or so considering the circumstances. I'd love to have him back too, would add a whole new dimension to our attack that we've been sorely missing...well since he left.

Personally I think it's premature to be saying that, but regardless we'd still need both anyway to start opposite each other. I'd love to see that happen regularly too, it would be great to watch.

Not picking on Robee, but it's wild how short people's memories are.
Dude, don't tell me you also think I said Yildiz is better. Who in their right mind would rather have an expensive underperforming player on an expiring contract instead of an upcoming talent (who will start anyway) on a 5 year deal? I literally added why in the post...
Ofc Chiesa is the better player today. People read different shit than is being typed all over this place.

MDG
Danilo Bremer Kalulu Cambiaso
Locatelli Douglas
Koopmeiners
Gonzalez Vlahovic Yildiz

With Gatti, Kabal, Weah, Thuram, Milik, Fagioli and Miretti as back-ups.

This team won't be able to compete with anything or anyone, 3rd place best but I reckon Inter, Milan and perhaps Roma have better teams on paper. As for the CL, unless we get a very lucky draw we'll be out of it pretty soon (hopefully we can go to the EL though).

"I'd take Yildiz over Chiesa now in my team, easily."

Meaning you'd pick one over the other and the rest is justification, that's the only way to read it. I then responded with you don't have to pick one over the other, we can have both.

Yes, I'd rather have a players that commits than one who wants out. Strange? I would not pick one over the other, that was in the conversation... I already said multiple times I hope Chiesa extends.

Buuuuuut... if we don't have to pick Chiesa has to extend obviously and he doesn't want to. I'd rather bite the bullet and set the tone than continue to lose players on a free and rescind contracts of players before seeing them move somewhere else, like we did under Marotta.

The problem lies with players knowing they can manipulate us and our stand is not firm. It costs you small amounts here and there but in the end they add up to a larger figure and it stinks.

Maybe Locatelli as back up to Thuram as from what I have seen Thuram is a lot better (at least than this version of Locatelli. The guy seems broken)

Meanwhile we are linked with Marcus Edwards. Youtube makes him look amazing but honestly I have no idea about him. In any case he seems like a RW which means N.G position..
