Done Deal! Jean-Clair Todibo to WestHam from OGCNice for €40M + a % on the future sale. Contract until 2029 (€4M/year). WHUFC have overtaken Juventus, which offered a loan (5M) with option to buy (28M + 2M as bonuses) which could become an obligation upon reaching certain conditions and a salary of 2,5M/year until.

good riddance.

it is regrettable for us though, losing a ball playing defender like huijsen for peanuts and dump it on monza'a goalkeeper.

“In January, I found out that Juventus wanted to sell me, and I was disappointed by decision of Giuntoli; meanwhile, Motta wanted to keep me. I can’t wait to return to the Stadium to show that I could have done well at Juve.”

more confirmation that giuntoli is an assclown.

Well if this is true then Giuntoli thinks he can bring in someone better for cheaper. With this world of inflated market valuations we live in.. Lol good luck with that

he preffered us, just didnt want to wait longer/was conviced by much bigger salary.
Its the selling clubs that prefer premfags, thanks to the bigger fees.
He was convinced by a bigger salary from a team that will never play in CL. We cant even compete with f*cking midtable PL clubs any more. How sad is that. He is not even a top player.
The future is not looking bright. This rebuild will be long and painful.

I think we kind of already known that’s what happened as we desperately needed to register some sales to fund other targets in the mercatto, but it does make it even the more annoying when being aware of our current situation on the wings and seeing the player already complaining about being forced out in interviews.

its the thing of todays football - sell HG player as he brings the most plusvalenza. From financial perspective its better to do it like that.

Takes away a CL HG spot and you make a decision against the incoming manager, not a way to build trust. Soule could be sold a season later, even if he flopped we would've still made a decent plusvalenza. I was ok with soule going, but not ok if Giuntoli goes against the manager and now finds himself struggling to land his targets. Having your targets early is beneficial for everyone. I know it's all easy said than done but now Giuntoli has to deliver.

Teun Koopmeiners wants a move to Juventus and has submitted a medical certificate to Atalanta. The Bianconeri are ready to sign him, but Atalanta are currently refusing to negotiate. They've put up a wall around the player. La Dea are not open to selling to Juve but are waiting for epl clubs to make any offer for Koopmeiners.

huijsen is surely talented but he isn't ready. i don't even consider him a loss

todibo would have been a useful addition though. i wonder why we don't have lion here running circles in every active thread reminding everyone how we spent the missing millions on a 4th goalie
I consider the fact we sold Huijsen for such an underwhelming amount to then still fail to get your main defensive target weeks later as a massive loss.

We’ve already got an endless amount of problems, however for me Huijsen just ain’t one of them, we cashed in on someone that has promise but wouldn’t have started here for at least another year or two, whereas when it comes to Soule that really is a completely different story when looking at our wingers today and the valuations/asking price for other quality wingers on the market.

It's time we move on, we're broke and don't have enough time, give up Giuntoli

️ In the talks between Juve and Ajax for the loan of Rugani the idea may emerge that would push Sutalo to Juventus. Croatian defender, 24 years old: request of 15M€, salary of 2M€‼️

That's crazy stupid. Why would a player not good enough for Ajax be good enough for us?

If we want a back from Eredivisie only Hancko seems good enough

this would not be the first time giuntoli is interested with someone who wasn't good enough for ajax. that conceicao guy from porto also failed at ajax. not to mention alcatraz who wasn't good enough for english second division.
