pre-injury chiesa was the closest to world class as he was the best attacking player of euro2021. too bad for that injury

but yeah, italian attackers are mostly meh. scamacca is probably the one with the highest market value and i wouldn't put him close to the top20 internationally. that milan dude (camarda) has potential, chiesa can still crawl his way back to an acceptable level, the others are forgettable at best
i think ur all forgetting about Baggio reincarnation Federico fucking Bernardeschi

lets put their gargantuan price tags, agent fees and wages in mixture too. getting rid of soule who is already ours and familiar with the league for these is a sham staged by giuntoli to fill his own coffers with commission fees.
i only like Galeno from that list of players, but he is a left winger, doesnt really play on the right side so this is also argument for Soule.

I hope the management know what they are doing as many of you are making good points. However let’s be honest with ourselves, stats aside and from viewing short highlights and the odd game I don’t think any of us have a really good idea how good these players really are.

The management must feel that Soule’s value is overrated because the argument about selling him to raise funds is moot because we will have to spend more for his replacement essentially.

Actually it's all about selling Soule/huijsen/Chiesa to fund todibo and koop, because only those 3 players have the value enough to raise the needed funds to get the other players.

If suddenly someone is offering JJ 30+ millions for the burger and he accepted it, we would've sold his ass in the blink of an eye, same thing with Arthurd, Milk, Allegri's lost son and whoever else in the book that remains.

At least there is more chance of them becoming Luis Figo or Ronaldo than Italian wingers who never have anyone to dream on to become.

Seriously, who's the greatest Italian winger? Camoranesi? He's half argentinian, lol.
Signori, lombardo, Baggio(SS/Winger)

i think the biggest issue with Soule is that he is not a real winger. He is great playmaker, but will probably struggle because he lacks pace. People compare him to Di Maria, but Di Maria had great burst of pace, which Soule lacks. He is great technically, has a brilliant left foot and good eye for a pass, but he is not a sprinter.
Then again u have an example of Mahrez, who was also not a fast player, yet he was a brilliant winger for City and I can easily see Soule becoming this type of a winger.

Galliani remains hopeful that he can bring Szczesny to Monza but Brianza would like Juventus to help contribute to his €6.5M salary. The bianconeri are open to this possibility, so long as Monza would take someone like Mattia De Sciglio as well.

Juventus had accepted an offer of €7M from Venezia for Hans Nicolussi Caviglia. The player however wasn’t convinced of the club. He is taking his time with his decision and still hopes to convince Thiago Motta.

Three clubs have asked Juventus for information on Arek Milik. The player could leave the Bianconeri this summer.

Shock, rage, laughter. That's what this post did to me.
Shock - that someone offered 7 effing million euro for Caviglia.
Rage - that the little shit might screw this transfer because he of all people isn't convinced that a move to Venezia is 10000 times more than what he deserves.
Laughter - he hopes to convince Motta

Roma has submitted an offer of 28mln€, including bonuses, for Soule. The offer expires today, and Roma are waiting for a response from Juventus. There will be no further bids from Roma.

Who the fuck do roma think they are to make ultimatums?

If i were Giuntoli I'd tell roma let's play a game of fuck off, you go first.

Not easy living up to George Weah. Football was blessed with so many super stars in the 90s...the quality these days just isn't there.
Nah Timothy Weah is definitely someone else's child

Since it feels like a matter of time for Soule and Chiesa seems on the way as well (when offers arrive and in the end they will):
D.G; Cambiasso Bremer Todibo Danilo?; D.L Thuram; Adeyemi Koop Conceicao?; Vlahovic
Yildiz might be rotated with Adeyemi or even be instead of Koop who we havent agreed or negotiated further yet. Conceicao - Since Sancho seems more unlikely than likely and is more affordable (and suits better to what we supposedly be looking for which is to reduce wages).
Overall a relatively young team. Vlahovic must perform in order for us to make it into top four. I wouldnt expect a Scudetto or a real Scudetto fight. Most probably our team will barely make it to top 4 if it does.
New coach new philosophy a serious change in team play. Its a bit naive to think it will all materialize immediately. Then we will see if there are positives or we continue with the "Del Neri" route.
I guess the real judgement would only come after our second season (unless we really fall hard like out of CL out of EL out of europe entirely)

Yeah I still dont see it happening.
Nice kid but he isnt on the level needed to improve our team.
I wouldnt mind him gone - He isnt a bad player but I rather some potential prodigy or someone with a really good nose from goals - Vlahovic shouldnt feel safe about his place. He hasnt proven anything yet.

Good morning everyone.

It's 1 PM in my time zone.

Good night everyone.

Another Mercato day has gone and we haven't signed anyone significant.

#Juventus continue to pursue #Retegui for their vice striker role behind Dusan Vlahovic next season. The Bianconeri could offer an exchange with #Milik but there is also the option of Tarek #Muharemovic (19) of the next gen as well (@CorSport )
