Is Retegui better than Milik? I always felt that Milik was a great squad player who is dependable to score goals. Yes, he is static and not the Motta style of player but Retegui strikes me as fantastically average.
I agree, he doesn't complain, does his job and has scored important goals for us. And he has an actual aerial presence in the box. Retegui at the euros couldn't hold the ball or win aerial duels (and he's listed as 1.86m, so he isn't exactly short). Not sure what he excels at.

#Juventus is looking for a backup to #Vlahovic. At the moment there are two hot names: #Retegui and #Raspadori. The latter is very liked by #ThiagoMotta, however the negotiation with #Napoli seems very complicated at the moment. But it shouldn't be excluded that it could be discussed as part of #Chiesa's sale, particularly courted by the partenopei. Whereas the #Genoa forward has been liked for some time by la Vecchia Signora but at the moment #Fiorentina is ahead.

he’s better fit for Motta because of his hold up play, so I’d say he is better than Milik, at least for Juventus.

Shock, rage, laughter. That's what this post did to me.
Shock - that someone offered 7 effing million euro for Caviglia.
Rage - that the little shit might screw this transfer because he of all people isn't convinced that a move to Venezia is 10000 times more than what he deserves.
Laughter - he hopes to convince Motta

Tons of rumors of things being almost done.

Todibo, Adeyemi, and Conceicao?

I love the quality and potential of all three.
Well to be honest, Todibo is the one thats almost done, the other two are not even in discussions with Porto and Borussia so they are not close...

And with the latest reports of Roma and Soule things might change on the Ayedemi and Conceicao fronts

True but closer than just rumored interest.

And things seem to be moving quickly on every transfer target we have.

Loan with obligation means we can still do a big signing for Koopmeiners hopefully. Also if the obligation is bit lower (Chico has 45m release clause, but no way they will demand that), we can probably see him as a rotation option instead of starter, until he proves himself.

Adeyemi is a speedster striker turned winger, and not really a creative or that super skilled player, so assume Motta would want to him as inside forward 2nd attacker type, then a wide playmaker as one of the wingers need to be.

Obligation just means we HAVE to purchase at the end of the loan. Unless its obligation under certain conditions which we don't seem to be using from what I've seen.

i think the biggest issue with Soule is that he is not a real winger. He is great playmaker, but will probably struggle because he lacks pace. People compare him to Di Maria, but Di Maria had great burst of pace, which Soule lacks. He is great technically, has a brilliant left foot and good eye for a pass, but he is not a sprinter.
Then again u have an example of Mahrez, who was also not a fast player, yet he was a brilliant winger for City and I can easily see Soule becoming this type of a winger.
It’s a plusvalenza issue not a player issue

I don’t like Milik but I rather have him indeed
