Selling Soule is not surprising to me at all, I’ve been expecting it, but only if Chiesa stays. In that scenario youre looking at Yildiz vs Soule for a starting position. That means a 40M+ player sitting on the bench. Thats a luxury. Zhegrova can provide quality depth for less, and they can use the rest of the money toward a starter elsewhere.

I would sell the garbage can, but no one probably wants him, so Djalo might leave on loan. Perhaps Conte likes Rugani and brings him to Napoli, or maybe we receive an insane offer for Bremer.

If somebody wants to pay 50m for Soule we bite their hand off imo. Would like to see what he can do next year, but ultimately if somebody wants to pay such a high premium on the potential of an as-yet unproven player let them.

We already have Fags and Fagiot, so a little homophobia to balance things out isn't such a bad thing.

In all seriousness though, if PSG are making Ugarte available on loan, we should pounce. We always do well with players from Uruguay, Bentancur notwithstanding.

Bentancur is much more talented than all of our midfielders (apart Fagioli and Rabiot).

That's not saying much though, seeing as our midfield is absolutely putrid - pure garbage. Also the Benign Baguette from from Saint-Maurice is the most repulsive and disgusting player on the team (Gatti is a close 2nd), so you're rarely, if ever, going to see me give him props.
