Of course.

JJ hasn't cared about being financially stable for about 6 years now, give or take, so sooner or later that is going to backfire. But it still feels like selling someone like De Winter is terribly short sighted. Get some money now, only to lose a lot more in the future. Also, it reeks of desperation imo.
Well, that goes for all our valuable assets really. There's just no money in selling our deadwood like Alex Sandro, Bonucci,... Is there?

And I think they prefer selling De Winter and Rovella simply because they view Huijsen, Miretti and Fagioli as bigger talents. Plus Bremer, Gatti and Locatelli are still young. You have to make a choice somewhere. Time will tell whether it's the right one or not. I liked what I've seen so far from Koni.

So much for building on young talented players with real potential. This one even proved himself last year at Monza. And no way in hell we will get Thuram. We will get the classic Allegri midfielder - old, big, strong, slow and technical limited, and with no resell value. One day of good news after the Zakaria sale, and back to depression.

You also must ask this question along with it.
You'll find I mentioned Khephren Thuram a while ago before we were even linked with him.

Is Amrabat the best we can hope for at this point?
No he can fuck off to manure Khephren Thuram is the one we need and the one I want the most.

We sold both Rovella and Pellegrini for a whopping total of 21m

I don't think Miretti is a bigger talent than Rovella, just probably won't fetch much of a fee.

I’m hoping for Thuram but there’s some smoke around Diarra as well. I haven’t seen him play but he looks interesting.
Diarra is slightly raw and not ready to start for this team. Khephren on the other hand... I'm surprised Liverpool didn't go for him and decided to spend over the odds for Caicedo as one of the most expensive signing in footballing history instead.
