This is classic Allegri, go for the quick fix expensive solution. He still thinks that his gameplan is perfect and with a better finisher, he will be proved correct. What a delusional dickhead and fuck all this previous achievements.

Lukaku is the ultimate choker, gifting his opponents the biggest trophies in moments that their teams will never forget.

Vlahovic has all signs of being a massive flop. I get why Tuz dislikes Lukaku, but he really can “replace” Vlahovic, because Susan was never really anything special for us.
My biggest problem with signing Lukaku is offering a fat long term deal to someone already 30 years old. But if you want someone to reliably bang goals against Monzas and Salernitanas of the world Lukaku can very well do that.
Do people remember this ?
Season 2020/21 was the year Dušan definitively exploded onto the scene. No other striker has scored as many as his 38 goals over the last two seasons combined,

He finished the 2021 calendar year with 33 Serie A goals. In the history of the Italian top-flight, only Juventus legend from the 1930s, Felice Borel (41 goals in 1933) and Milan’s Swedish scoring machine Gunnar Nordahl (36 goals in 1950) have scored more in a single calendar year.

With 44 goals, Dušan is also one of only two footballers born from 2000 on, alongside Erling Haaland, to have scored at least 40 goals in Europe’s top-5 leagues.

If he was to join it just sums him up as someone who will happily throw all principles/views to one side for a bit of extra cash (probably not much more).

We really don't need more players with terrible attitudes. We need players with a desire to improve and win things.

I don't want to lose Vlahovic. But to do it and sign an expensive player, on high wages, with no resale, who continually goes missing in big games and clearly on the decline is ridiculous. There are plenty of others with more upside.

This move to me indicates that Allegri is adopting a Conteball approach by shifting to a 352. The acquisition of Weah as a RWB also suggests this. Lukaku thrives in this formation when he has a second striker as support. Allegri clearly considers Cheisa appropriate for that role but no way in hell would Chiesa play another season there. He's a goner for sure.

Lukaku's lawyer's motto "defend the interests of the athlete with no conflicts of interest.”

You actually couldn't make this shit up

If Chiesa and Vlahovic goes theres literally just Gatti and Fagioli left of players I like. How fucking sad is that.
