What changed? Imo he’s one of the key players for Arsenal’s 2nd place finish and underrated if Arsenal don’t want him anymore.
Kai Havertz and most likley Declan Rice are going there. So they are after younger players. Also, Partey is something like injury-prone player and missed a lot of games.

People latch into narratives quickly. Partey is a top class DM, with excellent passing range and dynamic physicality, prolly the player we wished Zakaria was.

He was injured last couple of months of last season, but he hasn't been cronically injury prone player. Wether for Gooners other then last season or his years in Atletico.

I dont worry about the injury issues or age. I am more reluctant because of the price. I'm not sure it's a position we need heavy investment on.

Because arsenal are close to signing declan rice and this mid from Southampton
Declan Rice is a 3 horse race. Rather have Partey for 30m then Rice for 100m.

Romeo Lavia is a good young DM, but he isnt ready to start for a big club. More to be rotation or depth.

Partey is a good player but, once Saliba got injured and he was left exposed, was making mistakes, and looked poor. Saliba's injury killed Arsenal and Partey was a bystander. He couldn't impose himself in those games against crap opposition that took points off Arsenal, leading up to the Man City game.

Rice or Maddison would be better for us, much more dynamic.

Any def mid for 100 mill is madness, even Enzo Fernández was overpriced

How is Timothy Weah? Any Americans who can give their opinion. Plays everywhere LB,RB,RW,LW even some games as a striker, I don't know if that's a strength or a weakness, maby he did not find his best position yet.

He has been linked alot to Juve. So good or bad?

Since 2015 - he missed 44 games , while our "best midfielder" Pogba missed 63 games last 2 seasons! Don`t see to me like injury-prone player, as what is Pogba now!
I never denied pogba had injury problems that doesn't mean we should sign Partey though

Positionally I think he's best utilized in that Cuadrado role as a RM/RWB hybrid. His versatility is a strength because hes very adaptable. He's attack minded but can defend. Personally I rate him very highly. Idk why he'd choose Juve of all places right now, but that would be a great signing, especially with how empty that right flank is currently.

Tbh we need more athletic players, I wouldn't be against signing him. Seems like a forward who wasn't that great so he's found himself a better niche in the build up play.

His defensive ability would be wasted as a forward, that's why I think he's a better fit as a wingback. He's physical, good at pressing, and reads the game well.

I doubt we can land him, but it would be sick.

he’s good in build up, reasonably fast, athletic, has a decent cross and is very versatile. Has good positional sense and can finish on occasion. Like others have said, I think he’s better as a right mid than a forward. But you can put him anywhere on the wing and he’ll contribute.

with all that said - hopefully we are getting him to replace Cuadrado because as a RW he only contributed 2 assists last season

He’s not anywhere near as crafty as Cuads, but more powerful and pacey.
