yeah, that would be sweet, but it wont happen. for the fullbacks we should first decide if we go with wing backs or full backs. On the left we have Iling and Kostic, if we play wing backs we are stacked there. The right side is the problem, but at the same time, if we play wing backs, not renewing Cuads is just stupidity.

We should try for Kyle Walker. Dude is 33, with a year remaining on his contract with City, apparently wants to leave, so the fee should be peanuts + his current salary 5.3m net is affordable with the tax relief. His performance against Vinicius in the semis was great and he probably has 2-3 high level years remaining.

I dunno man, Iling Jr is not yet first team quality. Perhaps during this season he'll grow into it but I wouldn't feel confident heading into it relying on him. I definitely wouldn't say stacked with one first team player and one question mark.

Holy shit, if he's available we absolutely should be moving for him.

If I like him in spite of my anglophobia it speaks volumes.

I dont know if its a downgrade but they are two different players. Barella plays a bit behind compared to SMS but is more of an orchester than SMS. SMS on the other hand can provide assists but the upgrade comes in joining the box and his height and physique could do good the team who gets him.
Overall Inter could become stronger or weaker depends on the interpetation.
Barella is the engine for Inter because Brozovic and the Turk don't have the legs. Barella and the wing backs move quickly on attack with the other CMs moving forward slowly. That ability to break releases the wingbacks and they always register assists. SMS is less energetic so I think Inter get pinned back more. SMS is excellent but he'll upset Inter's balance and ideally, needs a Barella behind him so he can do the things you've described.

Allegri will evaluate Andrea Cambiaso in pre-season and the US summer tour and then will decide whether to keep him in the squad or send him out on loan for another year. (@Gazzetta_it)

Sounds like a marotta signing.

Fuckin sounds like Rovella all over again. So which overpriced older version of Cambiaso will we be blessed with instead?

I feel like all of these rumors are just made up. They usually are, but now more than usual. Until we settle on a SD I wouldn't take any of these stories too seriously.

let's see what happens with alex sandro. if we really terminate his contract, which is rumored for a while now, then no way we're not keeping cambiaso. mds is useless and out for a while anyway, and even if we sign parisi, i don't think we'd start the season with one left back

also, these are just some pretty safe mercato rumors. everything is moving around the club, we don't have a ds, nothing is sure
