Not that I really disagree with you but your reasoning is based on post-paratici management being competent/not retarded while there are plenty of examples showing otherwise.

Also regarding Tek, he could still refuse the extension especially if both him and the club want him to leave.
Which examples then?

BTW. I don't want to be the management's apologist, it's not like I'm happy with what's happening to the club these days. However, everything needs its context or we just assume they want to destroy half-a-billion company for fun?

2. 6 might generate some interest, but probably only as bargaining chips / loanees - Soule, Miretti, Iling, Perin, Zakaria, Pellegrini
iling and soulé could be sold for decent amounts, zakaria is still a swiss international, and perin is a more than decent goalie with plenty of experience.

i'd be surprised if iling was sold for less than rovella, danilo, gatti, kostic or mckennie if there was an actual auction for our players

more or less agreed on the rest. too bad the 1st category is virtually unsellable, and 2-3 wouldn't generate too much revenue

I find myself completely uninterested in it. If Allegri stays, it really doesn't matter if we have Chiesa or Orsolini.

We had a Chiesa-Vlahovic-Di Maria attack and it didn't do anything with this coach, how are we supposed to have something better?

I'm okay if we part with every guy in the 1st category bar Kean and Rugani by handing them out a nice watch and a ferrari so they can gtfo of Turin faster :D I don't expect us to sell them.

I'm not sure if I have any more info on this. No, I don't have Alex Sandro's contract in my hands, I do some digging by reading VS since I can understand a couple of words in Italian. I tend to read some pieces over there as they have a couple of people who report different stuff. Sometimes it makes it easier to understand what's truly going on in the club, sometimes it doesn't.

What we know for sure is that Paratici was kind of obsessed with plusvalenza and renewals because he had to lower the costs all the time, so that he could keep on buying. Agnelli had full trust in Paratici, so much so that he could do transfers on his own without anyone's consent. Remeber Cherubini's wiretaps where he complained that Paratici is crazy and without asking anyone can sign players for 25m just like that? Apparently that's the way he bought Kulusevski, everything happened super fast and suddenly we had a player costing over 40m on the books.
So, if you also put together what we know about contracts he offered to players, you begin to understand how big of a disaster he truly was. Le's look at some examples.

Ramsey: was signed on a free, got a nice package of bonuses when signed. Nothing extraordinary. Then, it turned out he had in his contract additional 'loyalty' bonuses for each year he stayed at Juve. That's why he was so difficult to offload, because the fight with him was for salary + loyalty bonus.

Szczęsny: His contract contains similar thing as in case of Ramsey's. This was mentioned at least one hundred times in here by @Valerio.
Then, if you think that the clauses that Paratici put into players contracts were as simple as 30+ games, try to explain Szczesny's most recent automatic-contract-extension.
The player publicly criticized Allegri for the game style post-Sevilla and he gets a renewal triggered? Why is it triggered now, when his contract is expiring in 2024? Shouldn't he be collecting appearances next year to trigger it until 2025? It doesn't makes sense, especially considering the rumors that the's not happy and he'd like to leave and the club is looking to sell him as well (I think two gurus confirmed this on VS).

AS case is also interesting because the club extends him somewhere between February to April just to offload in June with severance payment? Who does that?
It makes even less sense when you take into consideration what Allegri's personal friend aka VS 'guru' (named "29-5-1985" over there) said... Apparently Allegri hates Alex Sandro because he's a stupid player and Max doesn't like players like that :D He wanted him sold already post-Cardiff. Apparently AS was one of the reasons for frictions with Nedved who defended the Brazilian. Allegri wanted him sold.
Then, you might ask: why does he keep on playing AS still? Because the club decides, they loaned out Cambiaso and Pellegrini to lower the costs so Max is left with Alex Sandro as the only LB... The bottom line is: the club knows the details of the contracts, perhaps the renewal was unavoidable so they kept him?

I realize that these reconstructions might not be the most satisfying but those clearly show that in a lot of cases the club has contracts to respect and nothing can be done about it. You don't extend a player you want to offload and the coach doesn't want. So there must be something written down that gives the player an advantage, otherwise he'd be gone long ago.
Allegri hates AS and thinks hes stupid, I dread to imagine what he thinks of Gatti if Gatti and even Rugani who's been fairly decent when called upon now are being benched for AS

And actually going off the back of my last note about AS if that's Allegri's thought of him then it fucks me off even more than he started AS over Gatti in the first leg vs Sevilla where AS was a liability and a cause of the Sevilla goal. Its as if Allegri wants to fail and he knows it!

Soule close to an exit this summer. Great project Juve. Let's renew the likes of cuadrado however.... seriously you'd think Stevie Wonder is running this club.

Why would anyone ever bemoan us selling Soule?

I'm all for giving good youth options a chance, but who cares if we sell someone as mid as him?

Its like if someone was bemoaning us selling Gasbarroni 20 years ago.

Soule screams the level of player that will dissappear in to small club obscurity as soon as he leaves.

You're right but I think why people are frustrated is because its a symptom of our poor mercato strategy: sacrifice our youngsters, renew the geriatrics like Cuads and Sandro for continuity sake. Not sustainable in the slightest. All of these youngsters deserve a second shot under another coach.

I'm for giving Illing, Fagioli, Rovella even the regressed Miretti (he impressed me last year, fell off this one) as much chances as they need.

But I never saw much of Soule that deserves a chance, he just looks like a scared bambi who had little confidence or ability out there.

Fuck Sandro, but I would defenitely keep Cuadrado over Soule. Not that their fates need be related in any way.

It's all very predictable from them

problem is that from September to mid Feb neither of the three ever played together.
Chiesa injured
Vlahovic Pubalgia
Di Maria often injured until world cup.

So we reguarly played with Kostic-Milik-Cuadrado or Kean in

Even when they could play together Allegri preferred to play 2 out of the 3 at most. Usually di maria behind vlahovic

I agree in theory. It's frustrating to see certain young players sold, but we also cant keep them all.

If you told me Juve sacrificed guys like Soule & De Winter this summer to be in deals to bring in established players or part of a swap, I get it. I've seen their names thrown around with clubs like Sassuolo and Atalanta with Juve having interest in names like Frattesi, Scalvini, Hojlund, and Carnesecchi.

So if those guys need to be used as part of a package to sign one of those players, it's understandable.... especially if other young players like Iling-Junior, Fagioli, and Rovella are kept and play regularly.

If we go into the summer and Iling-Junior and Rovella are also sold to bring in revenue, and we sell off 4-5 young, talented assets, then yes, I 100% get the anger and frustration.

As for Miretti, I think he'd greatly benefit going the Fagioli/Rovella route and leaving on loan for at least next season. Selling him would be disappointing.
