My weekly transfer update column:

Tevez -> Chiesa -> Zaniolo
Marchisio -> Rabiot -> Frattesi
Chiellini -> De Ligt -> Mazzocchi

More coming soon!

Speaking of Mazzocchi, I wonder if he talks to his back while going to the loo?
"Jesus, close your eyes now, I'm gonna have to take a huge dump".

Taking a dump is you at your most vulnerable. Good to have eyes watching your six

As a backup for Zaniolo he'd be very good IMO.

Iling/Chiesa - Vlahovic/Kean - Zaniolo/Orsolini
That's actually not a bad forward line, until you realize Vlahovic probably won't be here with Failegri the Fossilized Turd retained, and that we won't be playing 4-3-3 because we need to be safe and play precautionary football against the Monzas, Salernitanas, and Lecces of this world.

This narrative is kind of naive, sorry to shoot it down for you. Neither Vlahovic nor Chiesa asked for sale so far and if there are sales, then those will be done only for big money.

I don't like Allegri either and I want him gone but we shouldn't believe shit sources like CdS who already sold Chiesa for 35m :lol3: FFS, it's not like JJ lowered their panties for Kulusevski at this point, so why would they sell cheaply Chiesa or Vlahovic?

and you just know that zaniolo would be crippled by jj-medical, so orsolini would play more

btw i wouldn't be surprised if vlahovic was gone already. we do need to balance the books this time, so he's on the market, whether he asked for it or not. we'll give spurs a discount on kulu too, i'd bet on it. what was the last time jj showed any strength at any level of its existence, be it on the pitch, in a courtroom or on the market? bremer's purchase was the last time probably, since that, we're a punching bag for media, opponents and sports politics

We lowered our knickers for Bayern not once, not twice, but three times Bro. JJ's culo is still hurting from all that anal pounding. We are notoriously bad at selling, the De Ligt sale most recently being a case in point.

We are going to have to sell because we have no European football next season, are not as attractive to sponsors as we once were, our board and parent company don't give two shits about us (so no refinancing this summer it seems), and we play the most putrid brand of football (hence the reduced ticket prices). We're taking Ls, big LS, both on and off the pitch.

If anyone is being naive, it's you good sir. I might be an alarmist, but I'm a realist, and my scenario is much closer to transpiring than yours. I'd love to be wrong, but I doubt it.

Was a good transfer for me :boh:

Good money for a CB imo.

Problem was us overpaying for him in the first place. Same is gonna be the case with Vlahovic if we decide to cash in on him. No way are we getting all our money back, and especially not after the season he's had.

I agree about de Ligt - we had to sell him, wage was too high to renew and he had 2 years on his contract remaining.

We dont have to sell Vlahovic, he's on 7m, there are 3 years on the contract remaining and he's coming off a dreadful season. Unless we think this is all he'll ever be, we shouldnt be selling.

Sad but true
Exchange Benatia, retired from football since 2019, for 26-year-old Coman, an indispensable element of Bayern who can still play 4-5 at the top level, Juve did it
Sell off Vidal 30M, Juve did it
Buy Costa, an unwanted player in bayern all the time injured 46M, of course Juve did it
Sell a promising player at a loss like De Ligt, Juve did it
Sell Vlahovic against Pavard, of course Juve will do it

and we did actually record some plusvalenza on de ligt. signed him for ~85m on a 5 year deal, sold him with 2 years left, that means ~40% of his purchase price (~34m) was his book value. sold for 67m, that's ~33m of plusvalenza

Maybe he's sold, maybe not. The difference with Vlahovic is comparison to De Ligt is the book value. We sold MDL "cheaply" but still recored a 30m+ plusvalenza. He was sold because we couldn't renew him, he had ridiculously high wages here.

Valhovic can't be sold for less than 60m I guess. That means we should sell for 80m to make any sense out of this sale. Not too bad I'd say, even if looking for a replacement will be difficult.

If you stopped moving the posts, your realism would be worth something bro. Your claim was we have to sell because Allegri, now your point is we sell because no CL. I just disagreed with you on the Allegri part, now you put into my mouth words I've never spoken. I never said we'd keep Vlahovic without CL, I realize this might be a good enough of a reason to sell. I still hope we keep him and look for savings with sales/offloading of bums/unnecessary players.
I never presented any scenario to begin with but anything works as long as you have the need to feel right on an internet forum :D

As mentioned above, we need to sell Vlahovic for something way bigger than 60m, because that's his book value I think. That's why Vlahovic's sale won't be like De Ligt. It might happen that Bayern comes in and offers 80m+, if it is so, he's probably gone. Then, perhaps we're lucky enough with sales of Kulu, Zakaria, McKennie and we keep him. Di Maria and Paredes are already gone, Rabiot is pretty much gone. Add to that AS and Bonucci and maybe it won't be that bad...
