Anguissa works since Napoli work
Kim is an interesting while their real star is Kvaradona.
Bremer is a bit disappointing but Gatti is actually surprising.
Locatelli is very good actually but people need to understand a few things:
1. Another type of manager could get more from him.
2. Expect him to be a Marchisio and not Pogba or Pirlo.
3. His current ability might not be sky high but he isnt a jabroni either.

Besides that we need a coach who can create a gameplan and an attacking one while keep defense steady.
It would make the players look at least twice as good.
Good points. I would add that Locatelli was a top player when he played for Sassuolo. I would expect Frattesi to have the same outcome should he join us next season with Allegri running the shitshow. We need a different tactical and mental approach and i'm sure a player like Locatelli will find a form that makes him an obvious choice for this team and the national team. Could become a Barella level player next year IMO

2011-2015
Evra 33
Pirlo 32
Tevez 29
Llorente 28
Vucinic 28
Lichtsteiner 26
Giovinco 25
Caceres 25
Ogbonna 25
Asamoah 24
Isla 24
Vidal 24
Pereyra 23
Morata 22
Sturaro 21
Pogba 19
Coman 18

Plus we had Marchisio (25), Bonucci (24), Chiellini (27), Barzagli (30), Matri (27), Pepe (27) as notable players. Our starting lineup in 2011 had an average age of 27.5. it remained mostly the same throughout the 4 year run until the 2015 final, with some additions like Pogba, Morata, Evra, Tevez

2015-2019
Dani Alves 33
Ronaldo 33
Bonucci 31
Matuidi 30
Hernanes 30
Rincon 29
Howedes 29
Mandzukic 29
Higuain 29
Benatia 29
Khedira 28
Szczesny 27
Cuadrado 27
D. Costa 27
Pjanic 26
Cancelo 24
Alex Sandro 24
Zaza 24
Can 24
Bernardeschi 23
Lemina 22
Dybala 22
Rugani 21
Pjaca 21
Bentancur 20

Probably forgot a few. Starting lineup changed much more each year than previous seasons. Average starting XI age at the beginning of 15/16 was 28. 16/17 it was 29. 17/18 it was 30. And 18/19 it was 29 (even tho we lost Buffon).

Point being, we kept replacing the leaving players, but rarely with younger ones. A transfer like Matuidi for example can be seen as a successful one, but he was gone after 3 years without any money. Because he was 30 when we signed him (for a starting role, for a position in dire need of reinforcement. At the same time Milan got a 21 year old Kessie, who would have still been a starter had he stayed. Same with the return of Bonucci, when De Vrij went to inter for free. D. Costa, Benatia. Dani Alves had one season here and was replaced with De Sciglio etc. Then came an even worse Paratici era, and we are left with building from scratch again like in 2010

In the fuller interview there's a line I'm not sure if he's saying he's completely available or that Atalanta are completely available for negotiations with Juventus. What's your impression?

https://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/ser...o-all-atalanta-dovro-parlare-con-loro-1828340

Miglior portiere in circolazione? "Courtois in questo momento. Maignan il migliore in Serie A".

La maglia azzurra? "E' un sogno che si ha fin da piccoli e spero di poterlo realizzare in qualsiasi momento".

What does the experience at the Cremonese represent for you? "An important point for the future, it has given me the opportunity to play in Serie A, I just have to thank Cremonese, I will always be grateful."

The future? "Dreaming is free, you never know... I've always taken things step by step, since with my time at Trapani, so as not to risk biting off more than I can chew. I'm lucky that I had parents who instilled humility and the desire to work hard in me from a young age.

How does it feel to be linked with Juventus? "It's something you dream of as a child, I am under contract with Atalanta and I'll have to talk to them, they're completely available [for negotiating]/I am completely available." (idk which it is)

Best goalkeeper playing these days? "Courtois right now. Maignan is the best in Serie A".

The Azzuri shirt? "You dream of these things as a kid and I hope I can make it come true, at any time."

He was a good footballer no doubt. I do not question the purchase but his departure. The problem is that in the end it was injury after injury, and it was impossible to get rid of him.
When so many situations are repeated there is a problem, you give contracts that are too long, too important to declining players who no longer have the level or the motivation.
Obviously if you offer a player short contract he will look elsewhere. Then you find yourself in a situation in which you have to find money for a transfer fee and a contract for a new player that can turn out a failure. If you want to have a strong squad capable of competing at three fronts till the end of the season you have to pay them money. Otherwise you might count on a situation in which your first team players will stay injury free for the whole duration of a season.

Roung by round im liking the Frattesi idea more and more
I’d sign him aswel. Rabiot is bound to leave I think, Frattesi and Rovella in.

The RB remains the biggest mystery. Barbieri isn’t ready to become a starter, and I don’t know of many options. Might loan Cancelo?

For the LB Cambiaso will return I think, there was this rumour of Carlos Augusto (Monza) aswel some time ago.
