Carnesecchi Watch

3-0 loss to Udinese.

-First goal (0:00) he possibly could have done better, but it was a ridiculous effort with the outside of the boot. Unpredictable and inch perfect. Contender for goal of the season?
-Second goal (1:06) was a common one I've noticed when watching Cremonese highlights. They are incapable of defending crosses and lose a lot of goals that way.
-Third goal (1:25) I don't know, if he comes further out he gets lobbed. So he stood his ground, made himself big and the finish was great. Potentiall partly his fault.

He was saved by a defensive block at 0:42. He should have done better there, I feel (but once again it's a failure to deal with an aerial threat)

He made saves at 0:57, 2:00 and 2:15. Cremonese's defence is truly terrible, and it easily could have been worse than 3-0.

Question for those who watch other football.

Who is out there who exemplifies grinta? I'm thinking of how we signed guys like Tevez, Lichtsteiner, Mandzukic and Vidal who instantly clicked because hard work was already a huge part of their game.

Who's out there now with a similar work ethic matched with tactical and technical aptitude? Who'd be your ideal grinta signing?
A few names on my list would be Marcos Llorente, Bruno Guimaraes, Joachim Mæhle, Samuel Chukwueze and Rasmus Højlund

Badass J Elkann

Pretty much anyone who's not called Leandro Paredes, Alex Sandro, and Leo Bumucci

Getting Koulibaly would be a no brainer.
getting koulibaly is an idiotic move. 32 year old on high salary. would last 2-3 years anyway
invest in youth
scalvini for 40m for example on a lower salary would probably cost the same. today scalvini made abraham look like a teenager
someone like ndicka on a free would be so much better than koulibaly also.

Allegri actually request stupid players.

1. Wanted Paredes when he had rovella who is doing so well
2. Extended Desciglio for no reason
3. Extends Alex Sandro and maybe even Cuadrado?
4. Extended Mandukic Khedira when they were finished players.

Now wants Koulibaly? pls..

You make a valid point. Although I think koulibaly differs a little to some of the names you used in your post. I'd prefer scalvini, and would like to persist with youth and build our team accordingly.

There is so much to fix though, not surprised allegri is looking at freebies like koulibaly.

Absolutely agree. Why do we insist on recruiting overpaid, aging footballers that are way past their prime. Our scouting department is basically a couple of people going through the rosters of the top 3 European leagues and looking at players that are on their benches.

Fuck Koulibaly, let’s find the next one not buy the old one

Koulibaly or Scalvini, first let's get rid of Allegri
That's key. Regardless if we make the CL, and somehow manage to avoid and further penalties in the coming months, the one thing that is clear is that this team looks terrible under Allegri.

As soon as the last game of the season is finished, we should sack him, take the hot and pay his 20m..bring in zidane and ask him what he needs. I have no he will get more of out these players than allegri is.

I can see Koulibaly being one of these moralistic types and refusing to join us on loan, maybe instead going to Inter when they finally sell Skriniar.

Also wouldn't surprise me to see Chelsea pay some of his salary, they clearly can't waste money quickly enough.

31 for a central defender is not a concern at all, but it needs to be complemented with fresh and motivated players around him.

That's part of the reason we're in this mess - the shortcuts and fucking freebies.

Failegri shouldn't be looking at anything but the exit door - that fucker has got to go.

Well thats the contract he signed and the salary he receives until 2026. If we dry loan him, either us or us + Chelsea would cover it. And I dont see why Chelsea would loan him and cover part of his wage, he's been that bad?
I'd hope they do. We've all seen them burning money left and right.

No idea, I don't watch them, and I don't care either tbh. I've seen enough of Koulibaly to know I'd take him on loan if possible.
