Pjanic's value isn't even 0, it's negative. Barca willing to loan him out for free for one OR two years and pay HALF his salary just to send him away. And no club wants even that on penultimate day of mercato. And you think signing this player would double our mercato score?

Once again I'm not a Pjanic nut hugger. The reason nobody's willing to take him is his huge wage. Not many clubs can pay such a wage without changing the wage structure, and they usually have more competent sporting directors. Barca won't be able to register him anyway so it makes sense to offload him somehow by paying a portion of his wages. that 50% is from a shit journalist.
At any rate if you're comfortable with this group of CMs going into the season then we have to agree to disagree. But remember Ramsey will be out for some time and it take a couple of weeks for him to play after coming back to training. He's never played 2 back to back games. Arthur will be back on October and more or less will lose the first part of the season. That leaves us with Locatelli, Rabiot, McKennie, Bentancur and Berna. Except Locatelli the others are very inconsistent. Having someone that's able to hold the ball and play regista will be beneficial, especially when it seems like we'll have a lot of decent competition in Serie A this season.

If Pjanic wanted he could have taken a paycut but really no more blunders on this last day of transfer season we need to save money for next season
