thats at least two pretty connected journalists saying watch out for surprises. Wonder who would qualify as a surprise. Tchouameni? Hehe
I can’t remember if it was you or someone else that brings up Tchouameni every other day, but has he even been playing that well? Monaco have been losing matches.

I’ve watched some monaco games since he’s been connected to Juve and he’s been pretty consistent for a 21 year old. He’s more impressive than Camavinga tbh.

probably close to a 0% chance this window. Then again, that would qualify as a surprise.

@BayernFan u should know more about Bundes, i have followed one guy from there for a long time - Xaver Schlager from Wolfsburg, what do u think of him?
I don't know much about him, just know that he played for Wolfsburg for a couple of years now.

Also got a decent amount of caps for the Austrian national team. But I don't know about him in detail.

I mostly only know about Bayern players, Dortmund, Gladbach, Leverkusen, Leipzig and Frankfurt a little as well.

Schalke as well before they relegated. Don't follow the smaller teams much.

But what does he offer?

I don't think he offers any upgrade to your current midfielders, else it's minimal.
Control and calmness which are the main things Allegri wants from his team. We currently don't have anyone who can control the tempo of the game as Allegri at least early on seems to prefer Locatelli as a mezzala. Juve signing an experienced player for that deepest midfield role seems a safe bet.

I would hate to only go for Pjanic, but then again, Conte won Serie A with a bunch of spent cartridges alongside the Hakimis and Lukakus. We have quality in the team, it's just very young and need more experienced players in the pitch to control the tempo, that's probably why Allegri wants Pjanic. If it's a free loan and the team pays little in wages, I don't see why not try him there and if it doesn't work out he can be sent back to Barcelona. We were also obviously dying for a prima punta in the last game, with Kean there and perhaps Morata to his left the attack would actually be more efficient, there was nobody in the center to tap all of those crosses in.

Let's have a bit more optimism, the squad isn't bad at all and Allegri is one of the smartest tacticians around. The results will come.

The midfield is a definite must fix over the next 3 days. Pjanic although he is a lot better than any of the other players we can call upon (bar Locatelli) is really a backwards step that’s a very very short term fix to our myriad of problems.

Sadly, at this point, I’d certainly take him. A 2 of Loca - Pjanic in a 4231 with Chiesa, Dybala & Cuadrado as the 3 would be a major improvement on what we have fielded to date
