If McKennie leaves I think (hope?) they’ll go after Tchouameni. Tactically he’s a better fit (Can play pivot with Loca) but he’s also more expensive so idk it’s probably just wishful thinking.

You could say the same about Real and Barca. Now that Messi is gone, their league is even worse than Serie A. Neither have money, thought Real could probably raise enough to sign them. Barca is dying because of the salaries they offer, Real is not far behind. It's historical prestige that will keep clubs like Real, Barca and Juventus as attractive destinations for a few more years.
