Costa is only one who should stay next season. even with his injuries it's nice to have a winger other Chiesa who runs directly at players. especially if we plan on playing 4-3-3, which we should
Costa, Chiesa, Ronaldo, Kulu, Berna as wingers.

100 percent. I think though we underesttimate how much diference having one good player can have on the squad. just having one good quality CM will lift the team up I promise you. bentanur and ramsey are not bad players. misused s better term.
look how much better we play when cuadrado is in team vs when he is not. he is just one player but he does so much work and allows us better tactical flow vs when he isn't there.
look at impact of bruno fernandes on manutd. one player turned that team from a meme team to a good team.
all I am saying is that I think just getting one good quality CM to play deep would be a huge impact that would allow rest of team to play well off of him. I just don't think we will see more than 1 CM siging and thats going to be one of locatelli OR aouar. I don't expect both

I mean Bentancur plays as a AM for national team. Yet her we play him as a Regista. thats what happens when we have no options.

Kind of like Vidal did under Allegri. We know his physical and is good closing players down and winning ball. he is also a tall guy and can be useful making runs i box for headers.

Bentancur had his best games when Arthur was fit and firing and when he had Pjanić last season.
I've always said he will make a very good complimentary player. He can do the dirty work while he has someone else running the midfield. Unfortunately he's making too many mistakes/unforced errors to even believe that he could work out well with a better support cast in midfield.
