Next post down on that thread is someone asking for information on a Romanian player called Octavian Popescu (great name). In Romania they seem to be going nuts for him. One "Italian source" says that the only time they'd seen a better scouting report was Pogba's. They want over €20m for him.

Could be rubbish but seems like one to keep an eye on. He is an 18 year old left winger.

Sounds like Reynolds wanted to be involved with the first team right away rather than be sent on loan like we wanted to. Plus he mentioned that Roma having owners from Texas was a factor for him.
