Focus on youth. It's literally the cheapest option. Why is that so hard for this club to achieve that? Why are we the only big club that struggles so much with youth development?
You could say we're only started that journey with the u23s. my issue is that players like correira are being over looked when that piece of shite bernadeschi is still getting minutes to do absolutely fuck all

Inter have a squad where their best players are in their prime and will be for a few years more. Nothing wrong with their squad right now.
with the exception of lukaku, barella and Martinez who else? to a certain degree skriniar and bastoni rest of them are basically cack or over the hill already.

Their oldest players still have a couple years left. Nevermind their mid/late 20s still have half a decade to play.

Lukaku, Martinez, Barella, Skriniar, Hakimi, Bastoni. Thats young 6 starters.

Brozovic and De Vrij is under 30 too, so no hurry to replace (this makes it total 8 starters). Its generally their depth, Perisic and Handanovic that are over 30. But their core 11 are not in a hurry to be too old.

We had one of the older squads in Italy when we used to dominate as well, Beppe likes a mix of young and old. He's used the same Juve formula of squad building and it's working for them so far.

Lukaku, Martinez, Hakimi, Bastoni, Barella, Skrniar combined with the experience of Vidal, Sanchez, Handanovic and the likes makes them a well balanced squad.

Stop trying to sound smart and acknowledge the fact that Beppe has done a good job with them.

What happens with their ownership though is another matter altogether.

Their immediate issue isnt age, its finances.
Exactly. For once in a long time, they have a squad I'm envious of. It's been awhile and we all knew this time would come and I'm sure we will be fine in the long run but losing Marotta really hurt whether people care to admit or not. Losing him really shook the balance of the club where we had a great trio where their strengths were utilized and no one was put in positions they weren't familiar with.

AA really has his shit to work out.

Mate they're fucked any how, no money, no new players, their squad gets older and they're still shit in Europe. Envious? no I still think we have a better youthful project in mind, inter just threw everything into one basket to try and win the league this season. Long term they don't have anything on us still. Frankly I think Milan have a better project than inda.

Marotta will leave inter in the same mess as he left Juve Paratici has started the process of rejuvenation of the squad and done an incredible job

Has Tottenham shown any interest in our players since they tried to sign him a year ago?
Reports continue to claim Kane will leave Tottenham in the end of the season.
He doesnt seem like the type for City and I doubt Man Utd would go crazy for him.
We could actually get him on some money and player deal if they are interested in Rabiot, Ramsey maybe even Dybala (although I hope we keep the later)

Kane is not leaving spurs he likes being the big fish at the small pond. If he really wanted to leave he would have done so by now.

Idk if you know this but this summer is going to be the kind in which we can buy players like Kane.

If we can make any "big money" signings (> 40M) without selling our players who actually have some market value (De Ligt, Demiral, Kulu, Chiesa), I'd be very surprised.

And that's if we make top 4.

We are at the end of our era and sadly I think we will struggle for the next couple of seasons. We had an opportunity to cement our place at the top of Italy for at least another 5 seasons but we fucked up big time hiring Sarri and failing to build a proper midfield.

Matuidi, Pjanic, Khedira were bad and needed replaced with WC players or at least one. Instead we went cheap and signed Rabiot, Ramsey and stuck with Bentancur. Arthur has potential but was always a gamble am so far has failed.

We cant afford a WC player anymore that moment has passed. I don't think we can even attract one after this season.

The team is a mess right now and Covid hit at the worst time possible just to make things even worst.

I've always said it would take several windows to get this right, given the current circumstances I would trade our position and future for any other club in Italy still especially not inter.

Manchester United starting a bunch of 23 year olds and a 19 year old and we made fun of them for a season and now they look like they have a more promising future than we do. Sad.
Change a coach to someone with a gameplan and suddenly everyone will start to play better... Pirlo cant make us create goalscoring chance while Verona outplay us and were closer to score the 2nd.

As for youngsters - Fagioli really played well and I wonder why we havent tried to sub him on against Verona. He actually passes the ball to opportunity making areas.
