Vlahovic with what money exactly? How can we buy Locatelli at the same time? Itll already cost us somewhere in the region of 90m
Transfers rarely get payed in one installment. Basically never I dare to say. If we buy Locatelli for 50m, he’d probably cost us 12,5m this year + his salary with 4 installments. For Vlahovic you will probably see a comparable amount.

Chiesa has a 40m obligation with 10m bonus, payable in 3 years. Do the maths

That’s what everyone who wants to keep Ronaldo should realize, it will open a lot of space.

For De Ligt we’re still paying for example, for Kean still receiving. A director probably looks to the total revenues and tries to stay under that, fixing the puzzle with installments which they are still receiving and the ones they’re still paying, It arent the same constructions as how we’re looking to it. This is why you read ‘book value’ or ‘amortization’ so often.

People only see the transfer price which depending on age and years is only a small factor in price over the long term. De ligt transfer price will end up being ectremely cheap compared to ronaldo

Loan with option or even obligation could be the formula but as Allegri understands we need the player in midfield or we will be meh for another year

Allegri is already a fantastic DS :baus:

Knows how to get the priorities sorted
It really is a no brainer...and he is trying to secure the forwards quickly as well. Morata straight up..requesting dybalas contract to be extended. Happy for ronaldo to be offloaded. These have been pretty clear in his communication so far.

As for that midifled...with limited cash I can't see how we can land an SMS type. Our best bet is to swap ronaldo for pogba...throw in a little more cash to secure it. Spend on locatelli...keep rabiot mckennie...and who the fucks knows what happens to bentancur ramsey and arthur but we need depth so cant offload all.

I know pogba hasn't been what he was at juve but on his day he is exactly what we need and under allegri im sure he will perform. He just never looked right after returning to united.

We’re going cold on Locatelli for now. Allegri wants a top midfielder signed first.
I think that it has more to do with closing this financial year. I think that this month we will do a swapdeal, sell some U23 players and take a decision on certain players like Pellegrini, Rugani, Demiral etc.

Swapping Bentancur for Saul is probably the best thing that could happen to us this month. Fingers crossed.

Pjanic won't impact that, unless he scores like 5 FKs. And Pogba won't come. Our current midfield, plus the rumored additions (Pjanic/Locatelli, one mezzala), will not be able to produce 20 goals among themselves. We will need big seasons from all of Dybala, Morata, Chiesa, plus either Kulu or whoever we sign instead of Ronaldo. Let's see but there is no reason to be optimistic
You will forget everything you mentioned when we win 5-0 in first match without CR7

Pjanic? :boh:

In all seriousness, I doubt Allegri agreed to come back without a proper plan in place.

I'm pretty sure he asked for certain guarantees.

Having said that, getting rid of Ronaldo's wages, selling Demiral and replacing him with Milenkovic, and getting rid of guys like Ramsey will allow us to have better opportunities in the mercato.

I would love Locatelli and SMS, but if we can't do that bring in Locatelli and De Paul. Next year, we go for Gravenberch.

We shouldn't be prioritizing an acquisition like Dollaruma at all.
