Busquets made one dive against Inter like 11 years ago and now everyone thinks he’s disgusting. I guess his rat-faced appearance doesn’t help him.
He’s way past his prime, I never really liked that guy, but we could really use him. We’re dying for someone who brings balance to our midfield. Don’t believe in a Bonucci/Busquets swap tho

Asensio seems to be very overrated here.

How is it OK to fill in the most important midfield position with a has-been?

Also we might not like BonBon but he's the most available CB. And therefor we need him, at least for now.

I don't agree. He always was mediocre. And placing him in a more advanced role (mezz'ala or whatever) with his total lack of attacking input is equally a waste.
In all those years Bentancur had like a half good season under Sarri. With Allegri he never was something special.

Failed project. His IQ on the pitch is so incredibly low that it becomes painful to watch

El Chiringuito reports that Asensio has offers from Italy and the PL, and they say that Allegri is a big fan is his for years now.

@Robee jij bent fan toch?

I once mentioned him because I thought he'd be attainable/not too expensive. And I think he has more upside than we're seeing now.

We're dying for some wingers if our coach needs that. With Cuads as RB, we only have Chiesa and Kulu there...

Fan is dus erg veel gezegd ;)

Asensio has been slowed down by long injury, seems a step slower then before. Usually I would said its a risk. But he will be a bargain to get considering he truly is a top class talent and still young enough. If all it takes is Bentancur who we can easily replace with Locatelli, I say do it.

All these swaps and names etc...how about we take one step at a time.

Step 1- find a new manager who understands how to make a team function under solid tactics.

Step 2- make decisions on current players and potential incoming players based on what the new coach needs.

Step 3- once step 2 is assessed and confirmed, action plan to keep our best players and exit shit players.

What if the new coach is Allegri? He probably got what he wanted aka a say in transfers, so those moves could be happening with his backing.

I'd keep Bentancur - simply because he's a good option to have for rotation and cheap. We need to absolutely get rid of Ramsey and Rabiot - they weigh too much on the wage bill.

Bentancur and McKennie should probably stay. Arthur is unsellable so we have to keep him.

Look at all those opportunities

I’m confident our transfer master will crush it this summer

Signing Maksimović and Hakan alone would earn Tici infinite praise around these parts

The utter disrespect. I know his top form was a while ago, but this guy used to solo top defences with insane goals regularly.
Meh, I believe you overrate the guy. It's not like he used to score regularly. He's in Madrid for quite some time and his numbers are anything but impressive.

IMO we need to sign two mids and I'd personally focus on selling Ramsey and Rabiot. Bentancur used to do solid under Allegri and having him as a backup would be good enough. Selling all three of them seems quite harsh and very hard to replace our whole mid at this point, not even a smart thing to do. Asensio is not only not needed at the moment but even if we do need somebody for that position we surely need somebody better.
